how big is it?

Answer: It is not as long as a Barbie doll. It is meant to be a beginners tackle box or a jewelry box. If you are familiar with Caboodles it is the size of a medium one. It has a top tray that has divided sections. The bottom is open and deep. I do not know the exact dimensions as it was a gift for my niece, but it is spacious. Some people are upset bc it can not store Barbies. It is not that long. I got my niece tons of tackle and bobbers and they fit perfectly.

Answer: The box is about 9"W 7"D and 6" tall. I bought it for a two year old, so the size is perfect.

Answer: We store our “cars” cars in there. The little trays space are just the right size For them. We had to take the tray out and we can fit 31 cars in there.

Answer: I think it has various sized compartments so Don’t know that this would work for that purpose. I have seen storage systems for matchbox cars on here that would probably work better.

Answer: Yes. It could be used as a kids first aid kit. There is enough room for first aid material.

Answer: I imagine it could. The latch breaks easy with use, but a first aid kit isn't something that gets accessed that often. It should do the job. They aren't that big, but they have enough space that you should be able to fit what you need in there.

Answer: I don't recall. I didn't keep it long enough to measure it. I returned it immediately after reading the LEAD warnings.

Answer: Yes, I think it could. It has a small tray on the top with small compartments and it sits on a bracket and when you lift it up it is totally open under the tray. That's a great idea - make-up box. I bought it for my five year old granddaughter's birthday and the Frozen fishing pole and some hooks and lures for the tackle box. I hope this helped you. This Disney Princess Play Box was perfect for a tackle box. It is very sturdy and made of thick plastic. It comes with two pieces inside. The top part is perfect for organizing small parts. It has square compartments. The bottom is empty and deep. I could also see this as a great thing to store doll accessories in. The top would be great for shoes and small things. The bottom would be a great place to store outfits. This would also work great as a jewelry box for a little girl.

Very disappointed. The size stated in the description is so far off and I bought for specific items to be stored in it. Also, I agree that the 'buckle' seems flimsy. CONS: Not the same at pictured! Disappointed! The picture shows bows on the box and different colors! No bows and the decals are just sticker and they were crooked I had to take them off slowly and reapply them!

Bought this for my daughter to use for makeup/jewelry. It was a great alternative to a Caboodle. Much less expensive, and she loves the Disney Princess detail! This box is not what I was expecting. It has a cheap closure, which is sort of awkward.

I know that this is for a kid. However, the netting is not very durable and comes off very easily around the spiderman handle. We have had to superglue ours to get it to stay. Other than that, our four year old son loves using this to try and scoop up the little fish in the water.

This is perfect for a three or four year old girl who has just started to love fishing! It's small, and can't hold a lot of tackle (stringer, couple of bobbers, line, swivels, etc.), but it's the right size for a kid. And if the child already has the matching princess fishing pole, then it's even better. I didn't worry about the "contains lead" label because this not a toy. We use it for a fishing tackle box, in which you use all kinds of lead sinkers already, so who cares what the box is made of. For a little girl who loves fishing and princesses, it doesn't get any better than this!

I was so excited to give this to my nephew for his birthday, but I was very disappointed when it arrived. It is just stickers (that were unfortunately not out on correctly) placed on a plastic box. The main sticker of Lightning McQueen was placed incorrectly and is already peeling up. The other sticker was placed near the front closure. It is stuck in the front closure, folded over, and therefore, is also peeling off.
