All markings are in what I assume Japanese. Wasted money, no where did it have an option to choose or even say it was in another language. Makes them pointless for us.

Luggage scale for air travel suit cases and also as a scale for weighing catches on my fishing boat.

Features, Pro and Con…..
… Has all the basic features of similar digital scales
… Name brand batteries (4x AAA) were included with the scales
… Has auto-hold function on digital display
… Has small tape measure on side of case (presumably for measuring length of fish… or?
… Hook happens to be a bit small for luggage… recommend obtaining larger hook as adaptor-device
(Re above: You can purchase larger hooks with eyelets at hardware stores to attached to scale hooks)

Overall Opinion & Recommendations….
This is a basic ‘no-brainer’ item. At a price per scale of $6, compared to typical digital hook-scales sold in the travel industry, this is about 1/3 to ¼ the cost of those specialty hand-held scales.

My main problem with theses was the packaging... all 4 batteries were smashed, there was no packaging around the scales, just in a box. They still seem to work fine (with new batteries) but are scratched up a bit. The accuracy is good and consistent. They feel cheaply made so only time will tell on the durability. And the “clear/zero button is labeled “TARE” so whatever that means...

Boyfriend says although it’s easy to use, and convenient. It’s not very accurate. If your wanting to get an exact weight. He has another one for tournaments and this one was off. Even tho not by much, depending on what and how your wanting to use it.

I purchased this item to weigh buckets of salads. I have to find out how much salads are left in buckets, it could be anywhere between 1 pound and 30 pounds. I just put the hook under the lip of the bucket, and hold it up until it gives me the weight. Makes it easy, instead of guessing. Best gadget ever!
