Answer: Its green and one of the best nets you can buy. Its repairable and worth the money. I have had mind for 4 years and replaced a few of the lines and one small tear still works great.

Where are bait buster cast nets made? read some where else they are now made in china and quality is not what it used to be.

Answer: They made here in the USA and they are worth every penny. It has been one of the best cast nets I ever owned. It is made of good quality material. The best money can buy.

Answer: I think they are still being handmade in Florida. I just bought one a few months back and performs and looks like the same quality and workmanship as the ones I've had before that. Only net I'll buy.

Answer: It will open to 24’ as far as deep water use I don’t know.

What shape are the weights on the 12 foot net?

Answer: Did not get 12ft. The weights are round on 6ft. 3/8 and 7ft 1/4. they are crimped and do not slide. I got another 7 ft. 1" mesh, the weights are tube shape and crimped. These nets are heavy and best used in clear deep water. Learn how to repair net, the tool is cheap and takes seconds with practice.

Answer: I beg your pardon, I misread your question and gave the wrong answer. The LEAD LINE length could be calculated by the formula Circumerence=Radius x 2 x pi. Sorry about the confusion.

i love the nets because of the weight and fast sink rate and heavy duty lines. i own 2 of bait buster cast nets one 6' and 1 8' and both have lines coming detached from horn without even snaging...must be due to the heavy weights...$300 in 2 nets that have 6-8 loose lines that seems to be unrepairable...

Well made net, but it's too heavy for repetitive use. That means that it's good for catching bait, but not for catching eating shrimp, which I use it for both. The extra lead makes it sink faster, but it takes a toll on the arm.

I bought the 7 feet cast net. Good thing about the cast net is the weight. On the first day, I caught 2 large catfish and they ripped the net. 4 brailed lines got cut. I had high expectation, but disappointing.

Well made net, took a little time to master it, but is working great now. Don't try to throw it too far, I'm an old fart and it doesn't wear me out ! Also recommend soaking it in some fabric softener occasionally, this keeps it soft and plyable.
