Questions about Tatuo 8 Pieces Fishing Rod Cover Fishing Pole Glove Protector Cover Rod Sleeve Sock with Lanyard for Fly, Spinning, Casting, Sea Fishing Rod
Q:
How long of a rod does this fit on? I have a couple rods over 7 feet and not sure if that'll fit.
Answer: they fully cover a 6'6" rod to the reel. i have them on a 7'3" and they are short, but still cover enough to keep the rods from tangling. weave is a little looser than i like but not a major problem.
Answer: I have a rod that is 7'6" and that's a stretch.
Q:
Are you not able to select which color you want?
Answer: Mine came with one of each color
Answer: No.
Q:
will a disassembled rod 2 and 4 pieces fit, or is this for a fully assembled rod only
Answer: I'm using them for 2-piece rods without any problem. I don't see any reason why a 4-piece would not fit ... in fact, I'm sure they would. They expand quite a bit. Peter
Answer: These sleeves are about 5 1/2 - 6ft long and are meant for a fully assembled rod.
Answer: 2 pieces might fit but cover will be way too long. works great on one piece or fully assembled take down rod. up to 7ft.
Answer: They're pretty thick and expand wide I'm sure y po ull be able to do a 2 piece not fully sure of 4 piece
Answer: Fully assembled rod only.
Answer: No they are full rod length when unrolled.
Q:
Will these fit on baitcasing rods?
Answer: They did not fit over the largest eye. We did return ours and are currently looking for a replacement. Everything else (weave, material, length, lanyard) was what we were looking for though.
Answer: Yes they fit well
Answer: Yes
Q:
Will they fir spinning rods
Answer: Not for all sizes. These will fit width max 5 cm/2 inches
Product reviews of Tatuo 8 Pieces Fishing Rod Cover Fishing Pole Glove Protector Cover Rod Sleeve Sock with Lanyard for Fly, Spinning, Casting, Sea Fishing Rod
Mike S. : Definitely a good deal and they work great!
Definitely a good deal and they work great! Keep the lines from winding together when traveling with multiple rods and getting stuck on other items. Have them on every rod I own!
Just Browsing : Works great
I wish there were more colors, but guys don't care about that to much lol.
jcg : Do Not Fit Spinning Rods
Despite the product description, on some spinning rods, these rod sleeves will not go over the last eyelet (one closest to reel). These rod sleeves seem to be made more for baitcasting rods.
Trevor Rice : Love Them!
Better than expected!
matt miller : Rod socks
No more Tangles. Works great
Ryan : Great colours and good quality
My first time using rod covers. I really like them so far. They fit my 7 foot bait caster perfectly and can attach the elastic to the reel handle. For my 7 foot spinning rods, it’s a bit of a tight squeeze to get it past the last and biggest rod guide. Then the elastic doesn’t reach the reel handles but it still stays on pretty well.
Amazon Customer : They work
Great product
Tom V. : Longer lengths would be nice to accommodate today’s rod sizes
The opening of the sleeve could be bigger cause the first eyelet on some of my rods are much larger then the opening of the sleeve
Amazon Customer : Great pole covers
Very nice keeps fishing poles from getting tangled up
Matthew R : Good product.
Good product for a good price. If you have multiple rods and travel with them together you need these. I would definitely recommend.

Nucboy : Spinning rods. The bottom loop is tight.
Saves the big rats nest I used to have.

K. Harrell : A must have.
Buy them you won't be sorry.
Amazon Customer Richard Hennessy : Quick delivery
Easy to use and they fit. I just got them so I can only assume durability
JHalstead : The cure
Rod locker tangles solved!!
Greg L. : Terrific!
Terrific! I should have bought these long time ago. Slipping in and out with 8 rods is a breeze. Cool colors and good quality.
Clancy2000 : Just ok
The diameter of these is not any too large. Spinning rods with any large rings are hard to fit.
Randy Boyd Sr. : doesn't fit all as stated.
Works great but wouldn't fit over the big eyelets on my 7 foot casting rods.
privateer : They don’t float
Does what is supposed to do
Emily gilmore : Actually functional!
Awesome product and easy to use. Wishing I bought more than the eight in a package.
Michael Kelly : Great rod cover
Really great product. Allows me to store my rods in my boat with them getting all tangled together.

rob chernak : Works as described
Works to keep rods from tangling in rod storage

Techdriver : If you have a lot of rods this an awesome value
Durable, great value and protect all my rods well
dwfish : Very pleased
I've always had trouble getting rods in and out of rod box. Had to be careful not to damage eyes. After putting rods in these sleeves it is much easier to get rods in and out.
Tom Watkins : No for spinning rods
Ordered covers for spinning rods and received covers for casting rods. Will not fit over the eyes.
Harry S. Balsak : You wont be disappointed!
Firstly, I only gave it one-star for Durability because I literally received the product yesterday (June 21, 2019). I immediately opened and placed all the Rod Socks on the rods currently on my boat. I ordered 3-packs of the 8-piece kit. I think just the number of pieces is value in its own. A single Rod Sock on major tackle sites can cost anywhere from $4 to $7.
UPDATE (July, 17 2019): The only issue so far is the elastic bands. They work excellent as intended, but there are a few times my treble hooks get stuck or pierces the band. It’s easy enough to get them separated - however, when you have 12 or more rods in your compartment, and a treble hook has pierced the band...be prepared to remove all your rods if the one you want is the one that is stuck, as well as on the bottom of the other rods.
NOTE: below I used the words “elastic band” in place of Lanyard. It is an elastic band
Pros:
*The elastic band is an excellent idea. You can leave your rods on the deck with the socks on without worrying about the socks flying off while driving to/from the lake.
* The elastic band also sets this apart from non-banded Rod Socks. If you use Rod Socks, you know they sometimes slip off the rod when removing them from rod box/rod locker.
* The elastic bands are sewn in - not glued.
* Quantity + Value = simple decision. Buy some!
Cons:
*Rods longer than 7’6” will not work with the elastic band. I have a 7’6” Heavy swim-bait rod (KastKing), and the elastic (fully stretched) barely makes it to the reel handle. That’s not to say the Rod Sock itself will not work on a rod longer than that, but this is more of a review for the elastic band.
* Will not fit most spinning rods. These WILL fit spinning rods with micro-guides, but for normal spinning gear, I’m not sure if the opening is large enough for the first guide past the reel.
I will update this review as I get more wear and usage from this product.
Albert1 : Does not stretch of last eye
The sleeve does not fit over the last eye on all my rods. The should be made more flexible
privateer : They don’t float
Does what is supposed to do

Mark Reinking : Fishing rod covers
We just put them on we haven’t taken them off yet so I don’t know how good they are but we like them cause they didn’t get all tangled up when we put them in the cabinet
Mikahayla Beebe : Good
I wish these were bigger around some of my eyes won’t fit!
April Wilkerson : Love these!
I ordered these to keep my rods from tangling up in my rod box. They are great quality and have the elastic loops that most of the “cheaper brands” don’t have. These are 8 dollars each at bass pro, so this is a great deal!
Amazon Customer : Work great

Andres I Portillo : excelente
