Answer: I used these for day and night fishing from marinas and piers and shores in Norway and I was really happy with them. I'm from MN and expect them to work well here once I get a chance to use them here.

Answer: I do not think so, I ordered it thinking it was, but it appears under the 1/2 oz weight it was(is?) listed as. My opinion, more than 1/4oz, but not a 1/2oz. Still a great price .

Answer: That may be because you are ordering a different color. I ordered the standard stamped chrome model in the picture and it came with 5 pieces. I was pleased with the size and quality of them as pictured. Hope this helps!

Answer: They worked good in saltwater caught lady fish and bonefish on the lure I would recommend changing the hooks to a stronger treble hook straighten them out the fish averaged 7/20 lbs had to bend them back wash them off in fresh water after you use them or they will tarnish great action on the lure fished them in Aruba

Answer: Many factors ... High sky or overcast ... Dirty or clear water ... If it is bright out , use bright lures ... If it is dark or overcast use darker colored lures

Are these suitable for bass fishing?

Answer: It should work fine in the day; no spoons really work at night unless you fishing off a well lit fishing pier. Poppers at night, spoons by day, poppers work better in low light/night.

can you use for surf fishing?

Answer: they will sink, so if you want to cast and reel from the beach they will work great.

Answer: They do have a 1/4 ounce lure but it is in a multipack. Just look for sougayilang spoons

is this a surface lure

Answer: No; it is a fast sinking lure. I used it in FL a couple of weeks ago to be able to cast a long way out (about 100 yards from shore on a spinning reel and rod with 15lb test line). I hooked 5 Bass with it when I couldn’t get a hit on anything else, far out or close in. Unfortunately, all 5 threw the hook out before I could get them all the way in, perhaps because it is hard to fully set the hook with so much line out.

Smallish spoon for the weight, but you can cast it a mile. I have caught fish on it. Side to side motion. Faster reeling keeps it nearer the top, slightly slower will let it sink more, and still have proper lure motion.

These spoons are just what I've been looking for. That came very fast after I place the order I can't wait to use them after the bass when they start schooingl and they also work really good for dropping around boat docks and let them just flutter down it's deadly. Y'all have a very good product real well made. Sometimes I put a drop of glue on the threads around the treble hooks so the thread don't come unraveled and they last longer through many strikes.One thing I might add is I think if u were to add. a clear coat on the spoon before you put the hook on it would help keep it from getting rusty unless you already have also adding a small chrome or silver swivel to the front of the lure would insure the line would not twist when fishing the lure just a thought.

I think the lures received are of good quality and a good value for the price. I was hoping they were larger and I would buy larger ones if they were available. These are a good size for fish in the 1-3 lb size range-but I would love to find an economical metal spoon with good action and flash like these in a size that is much larger. By weight, I would like them to be in the 1-3 oz range. These are a small fraction of an ounce, like 1/4 oz I think. The hooks are sharp and they are ideal for small stripers and freshwater trout sized fish. IF this is the size you want and need you can't beat these. But the same lures in larger sizes would compete with the Krocodile lure spoons and would generate substantial interest and revenue, I think. If the manufacturer makes them and sells here I would like them to message me. I would buy more. I have bought some of the Krocodile knockoffs that are not from this manufacturer and I am also very pleased with them. There is just no good reason a small piece of metal like a Kroc spoon should cost 9 or 10.00-bluefish chop them off quickly and it's too expensive to use name brands (I do use wire). First of all: the item was shipped quickly and arrived on-time. The packaging was more than adequate to protect the item. Shipping and packaging together was 5*.

So far I love these gold spoons. They have a quality metallic shine, but in my opinion, the quality of the trailer is what sets these apart. Three white feathers are lashed between the spaces on a sharp treble hook, with some sparkle lashed in the middle. (See pictures). With trailers on spoons, I personally don’t notice much of a difference when using spoons for bully reds, because they are going to crush it regardless. But the trailer gives me some confidence when the spoon is pressed into service.

Discovered this lure last year. Now it's my go to lure for white bass. It's great when retrieving it and bumping it off the bottom of an unobstructed lake bottom for white bass. Perfect when fishing in windy conditions or swimming the lure in the top portion of the lake surface. It's a sturdy lure and each one that I have fished with has last a long time. While I fish primarily for white bass, I regularly catch blue and yellow catfish with it. Good lure.

I am always skeptical about buying lures online, especially those that are not well known in the fishing community. These spoons, however, have been amazing. There is great action and can be casted at a pretty good distance. I was fishing with this in about 45 degree weather, just as our winter season was beginning and caught a decent sized bass. I was extremely surprised, considering bass are not as active to go after this type of bait during the cold season. I have the silver set, but definitely plan to try out the gold set as well. 100% would buy again.

I'd hoped to use these river fishing for Steelhead, but they're incredibly heavy. Probably great for other things but in moderate river flows they sink to the bottom in a nano-second and it's hard to get them up and in the zone. That said, they are well-made and probably indestructible. Just too heavy. Does anybody make a thin river spoon anymore?
