Answer: They worked good in saltwater caught lady fish and bonefish on the lure I would recommend changing the hooks to a stronger treble hook straighten them out the fish averaged 7/20 lbs had to bend them back wash them off in fresh water after you use them or they will tarnish great action on the lure fished them in Aruba

Answer: No; it is a fast sinking lure. I used it in FL a couple of weeks ago to be able to cast a long way out (about 100 yards from shore on a spinning reel and rod with 15lb test line). I hooked 5 Bass with it when I couldn’t get a hit on anything else, far out or close in. Unfortunately, all 5 threw the hook out before I could get them all the way in, perhaps because it is hard to fully set the hook with so much line out.

Discovered this lure last year. Now it's my go to lure for white bass. It's great when retrieving it and bumping it off the bottom of an unobstructed lake bottom for white bass. Perfect when fishing in windy conditions or swimming the lure in the top portion of the lake surface. It's a sturdy lure and each one that I have fished with has last a long time. While I fish primarily for white bass, I regularly catch blue and yellow catfish with it. Good lure.

I ordered these for fishing for 1/2 - 3/4 lb striped bass on a Tennessee River lake, using bait-casting reels and 12 lb test line. The Stripes were chasing shad minnows, in water about 17 feet deep, and I was fishing bottom, middle and near-top at different times. These spoons were the best for my purposes I have ever tried. The Stripes loved them, and I also caught several channel catfish, two about 3 pounds each, and a large-mouth bass also about 3 pounds. The spoons' weight was perfect for long casts, the spoons have a nice action in the water and can even be reeled in faster for near-surface retrievals. And after several hours of fishing they had not twisted the line at all. They also appear to be very good quality material that will last. For me -- perfect!

I think the lures received are of good quality and a good value for the price. I was hoping they were larger and I would buy larger ones if they were available. These are a good size for fish in the 1-3 lb size range-but I would love to find an economical metal spoon with good action and flash like these in a size that is much larger. By weight, I would like them to be in the 1-3 oz range. These are a small fraction of an ounce, like 1/4 oz I think. The hooks are sharp and they are ideal for small stripers and freshwater trout sized fish. IF this is the size you want and need you can't beat these. But the same lures in larger sizes would compete with the Krocodile lure spoons and would generate substantial interest and revenue, I think. If the manufacturer makes them and sells here I would like them to message me. I would buy more. I have bought some of the Krocodile knockoffs that are not from this manufacturer and I am also very pleased with them. There is just no good reason a small piece of metal like a Kroc spoon should cost 9 or 10.00-bluefish chop them off quickly and it's too expensive to use name brands (I do use wire). These came individually in a small ziplock bag. When I pulled one out, the hook snagged on the bag, pulling with not much force, the hook bent rather easily. You get what you pay for. a dollar a piece would be way over priced for this junk.

This is sort of a copy of a Gator spoon. It casts well and catches fish. Mackerel, bluefish, guaguanche, ladyfish, etc. My only quibble is that the treble hook is a bit lightweight. The hooks bent a bit when smashed by mackerel and bluefish. I'll be swapping them out for a single hook though. Otherwise, I would buy these again. I've lost two to cutoffs which is a good indication of their quality...
