Answer: Best color depends on what you are fishing for, water quality, what the fish are eating. Where I fish, white and chartreuse are good colors for the spotted bass I fish for. If I fished for striped bass, I would switch to all white or white with some glitter.

Maybe Spinnerbaits are, too, but they also catch BASS. There's something about the way a bass hits a SB - like it owes him money. Great for post spawn and fall. I like Booyah's stuff. Not crazy expensive and it works well. I have the most luck with white and white/chartreuse.

Basically weedless, catches fish, easy to fish (my 5yo daughter uses a spinnerbait sometimes), pretty cheap considering the same one has been on my rod for months and I LIKE to fish=no brainer. Tip: buy a pack of trailer hooks or learn to pause a beat before hookset. Or both. Yeah, both.

DISCLAIMER: This lure snapped off my line and sank to the bottom before I had a chance to catch any fish on it -- which is my fault, not the lure's -- but I was able to make 20-30 casts with it to see how it performed.

It swam straight and true, it casted very well without ever tangling itself up, the skirt fluttered nicely in the water and the blades spun easily.

Would I buy another one? Probably not at this price. I had been fishing with cheap-o Walmart spinners without much success and wanted to test how well an expensive lure would do so I bought this one. As nice as it was, I still didn't get so much as a nibble on it in 30-ish casts, so I'll probably be replacing it with something in between cheap-o and Bouyah price-wise.
