Went fishing this past weekend and had the opportunity to use some of the tackle in this kit. First off, this is a lot of tackle for the price which concerned me a little for the quality, sharpness, plastics poorly trimmed, etc. My concerns were quickly dissolved as I spent the day trying out some of this tackle.

The hooks are super sharp! Even after hooking up a couple of trout on plastics, the hooks remained sharp and sturdy. Exceeded my expectations.

Now the swim baits! Water temps were still a bit cool to get the bass biting. My friends tried numerous lures and plastics to try and coax out a sleeping bass. They didn’t even get a strike. Me? I put one of these swim baits on and checked out it’s action. Fantastic. Swam just like a bait fish when reeling and every tap gave it an injured fish action. After about 20 minutes a got a tap. I tossed the bait back in and reeled it across the same path and fish on! I hooked into a small small mouth bass! Super happy. My buddies all went and ordered this set of lures. I recommend you do the same. Let’s face it, as fishermen, we want to catch bigger and more fish than the others. With this set, it was my day on top.
