Why are these not sold in USA?

Answer: Because it’s a JDM product it’s only sold in Japan and soul do you have to order it from Japan or deal with the corado DC

When will there be a holiday deal on this reel ?

Has anyone used this for 1/8 oz spinners for trout or lighter lures ? i bought this to use as a trout reel, as the bfs xg model is hard to find

Answer: I have 2 of these reels. 1/4 oz is the lightest I’ve thrown. I’m not sure about 1/8 oz

Answer: I use mine on 1/8 and 3/16 oz jig heads with no problem, running 8lb fluorocarbon line.

Answer: I’ve thrown around 1/8oz life’s with it. It will work you just might want to turn up the setting to 3 or higher and go from there.

How many yards of 30 lb braid will it hold?

Answer: I think around 150 yards of power pro braid. I’m running 30lb braid on mine and even casting a 1oz drop shot far I still have a decent amount t of braid left over.

Answer: There’s 2 types of gear ratios: 6:3.1 and the High Gear or XG 8.3.1. I own the High Gear one. It’s a little more expensive but this baby performs like a dream!! I sold My first one but almost immediately went and bought it again!! ????????????

anyone had any issue with breaking system ( chip noise ) going out and not breaking at all? both purchases, had the same issue about 2 weeks of use?

Answer: I had purchased one for my husband in November 2018, and he said he had no issues or problems with his reel (still his the digital chip noise) but never has any issues of going out. Works fine!

Answer: It depends what setting you are on to get the chip noise if you’re not launching your rod hard It will only make the noise if it’s about the overrun but the reel is OK

Answer: I think once my breaking system faulted because I ended up with the biggest backlash I have ever had immediately when I casted. Had to cut it out and was leery there was an issue but I have been using it successfully since.

Is this reel made in Japan, or Malaysia?

Answer: Made in Malaysia.

Everything in Japanese how do you do anything with The oil where do you Put it

Answer: My husband only puts the oil in the guiding system and opens up the reel and puts some oil on the crank bearings as well (remove the spool) put some drops.

Is this model rsted for saltwater use?

Answer: Not sure if it is "rated" but I wade on the Texas coast with it with no problems. It is all about maintenance. Terrific reel, my favorite.

Answer: The regular is 6.3 and hg is 7.2 - not a super high gear but an excellent reel. I bought both versions and couldn’t be happier

So I’m curious if this reel is made aluminum or nylon? I have been looking at the scorpion dc but this one shows to be nylon? Is this authentic?

Answer: They’re not a knock off, mine came directly from a Japanese Company. Light metal, in my opinion this reel is better than the Curado DC.

Answer: The two Scorpion DCs I purchased from Amazon are metal. Definitely authentic with Japanese packaging - great reels. Don't hesitate.

I don't know if there is a real difference between this and a similar USA Curado DC model but it is sleek looking with the black and minimal red accent. Looks aside, cause looks don't catch fish, this thing casts like a dream. I wasn't buying into the DC hype at all, until now. It probably gets a 1/2 star bump for being unique and JDM, but it is a dream reel regardless. You do still need to use your thumb a little, but way less than a traditional bait caster. i've only thrown 1/2 oz jigs, spinners, and lipless and they fly. Get it. You will not be disappointed

This is a legit DC reel and works great. It’s low profile and balances well with the rod. It makes the trademark noise as the dc reels do. Simple to adjust brakes for different line, and a auto setting. Anyone looking for a quality dc reel that’s not available in the domestic market(USA) this is a nice step above the curado in my opinion. Smaller spool tho.

ちゃんとしたブレーキシステムで使用すればかなりライントラブルは激減させると思います！
DC音もしっかりとなり、巻き心地もかなり良く、充実していると思います！
バスフィッシングのみならず、最近流行り始めたロックフィッシングにも対応している機種になっているものと考えています！
飛ばすことを考えているのであれば別の機種がおすすめですが、マルチに活躍するのはこの機種で間違い無いと思います。
