Right off the bat I noticed the awesome colors of the Zata. It is a military green with red accents. Not colors you would think to put together but wow does it look cool.

It is a very smooth reel and I can cast it a long ways.

The Zata is lightweight so it doesn't feel like you are holding a brick all day. The drag is also really smooth.

The only thing that I don't like about this reel, is that I don't have 10 of them already.

Super smooth reel, after getting a replacement. First one I got didn’t feel smooth. Was possibly a return because these reel boxes have no seal, it’s just a cardboard box. I got the replacement and it is smooth as silk. I feel zero resistance when turning the handle. Apart from returning the first one, I’m happy. If it doesn’t feel perfectly smooth you may have a defective or used one, but I would try for another because this is a great reel

He is VERY picky about his fishing gear and he has not said one bad thing about it to me at this time. So, that being said, I am pretty sure it is a good reel and he is very happy with it. Trust me. It is a good rating. No news is the best from him! HAHA

Very easy to cast with, drag seems to be very smooth, I have two revo stx reels the Zata seems to be equal in every way absolutely love them all, bought one for my grandson for this Christmas can't wait to give it to him. I think that he will will have an easy time learning to use it, very user friendly. Thanks Abu Garcia and Amazon. A very good price too.
