Do these bags work with the Cuisinart vacumn sealer system?

Answer: I've got the cheap white & orange Chinese vac. sealer, and they work w/ it.

Answer: I have never used a Vacmaster chamber vacuum but I did look at the product website and user manual. The bags that are sold specifically for the Vacmaster look the very same as the OutOfAir bags sold on Amazon. The OutOfAir bags come in different sizes, are 4 mil thick (thicker than Vacmaster bags) and state they can be used with Vacmaster on Amazon website. I recommend these bags.

Answer: Yes. The gallon size would be the most useful. It would not make the rice last forever but would keep dust, moisture, bugs and whatever else out of the rice until you needed it. I've used these for storing four.

Answer: This is only an opinion: I think they'd be very good for storing rice if put to the use they're intended for, ie, vacuum sealed.

Is it smell proof?

Answer: It acts as a barrier for molecules that we use for smell just the same as it acts as a barrier for air molecules. Holding a vacuum, it also holds the smell inside. On the other hand, the microworld is super tiny and there can always be smell traces simply from the bag's handling when vacuuming. For example, a bag holding fish may still smell a bit of fish due to how it was handled when vacuumed. I hope this helps!

The Vacuum seal bags arrived in a timely fashion 150 of them in 3 sizes. The seller asked me to leave a review, so I will, but I have only used 3 bags, but they were all fine. That is the problem with doing product reviews on consumables used over time...We never know until much later if any will fail. I would have given 5 stars if none of them lose vacuum, but since I will not know that for a long time, 4* across the board is the best I can do. From all I do know, they appear fine.

I use my vacuum bags for just about everything that goes in the freezer. It keeps food from getting frosty and they are high quality. These bags, in my mind, exceed the quality of the ones by food saver for a much more economical cost! I just packed 37 bags of homemade organic beef jerky for Christmas presents with no failures or bag punctures. It seems that with jerky the original equipment bags have a puncture rate of about 10%. The size assortment is very nice too, the gallon size bags accommodate a large tri-tip roast with ease, the quarts are nice for a couple of steaks, the pints are great for jerky!

Here it is, 2 years later (November 2020), I just sealed several dozen more bags of jerky and once again, not one bag failed!

have received order of 50 each pints quarts and gallons. am using with difficulty. pints and quarts were apparently stored on side. sides of bags have a curl making them difficult to fit in machine' seems to me they have been in storage awhile and should have been stored flat. gallons are ok;
