The OutOfAir bags come in different sizes, are 4 mil thick (thicker than Vacmaster bags) and state they can be used with Vacmaster on Amazon website. I recommend these bags.

Answer: It acts as a barrier for molecules that we use for smell just the same as it acts as a barrier for air molecules. Holding a vacuum, it also holds the smell inside. On the other hand, the microworld is super tiny and there can always be smell traces simply from the bag's handling when vacuuming. For example, a bag holding fish may still smell a bit of fish due to how it was handled when vacuumed. I hope this helps!

I simply wash my veggies and place them in the bag, using the residual water on the veggies for moisture, I fold the open end over once and place the bag folded end down in the microwave. I can achieve tender crisp texture and the veggies retain their color. I bought these because of the price and because I was able to get both sizes I use in one package. I'll definitely buy again.

I liked them even better than the bags that came with the machine because they had a nice white space on the bags where I could use a pen to wright the contents and date. Also said that they were microwaveable, boilable, can freeze and BPA free. Will reorder these again when I run out.

SEE : Great product but had hassle factor
The product performed and sealed terrifically. However, the quart size bags came with one long edge folded over to fit in the plastic bag that holds the 50 bags together. That fold created a real hassle factor in getting lasagna pieces in the bag. Granted, lasagna is not the easiest thing to place in the bag but that fold (it had a memory) made it 3 times as difficult. The bags are slightly thicker that the FoodSaver brand so it makes it a little harder to work with. I think I will stick with the FoodSaver brand only because they are easier to get things like lasagna inside them. These are just a little to stiff for my liking.
