Does this reel make a noisy click sound (the anti-reverse mechanism) when turning the handle? (I'm not talking about the cliker, thanks)

Answer: You can turn the clicker on or off. If on, it will click when you reel or if the drag lets the spool turn. If off, the reel makes no sound whether going forward or in reverse.

Answer: Yes but the drag sucks it’s 1/4 th turn loose to tight not good when fighting a fish you slip and the drag will spool out and loose the fish

Answer: I use it for summer trolling in Chesapeake bay for rock

Answer: The XP-452La reel features a 3.8:1 gear ratio.

Answer: Line capacity is based off line diameter and it is in metric. l Im running 50lb braid that is about the same size as 20lb mono and spooled up just under 240 yrds. Hope this helps

Can you cast with this reel?

Answer: I can cast it with a 12' surf rod and 2 to 4 oz surf weight just fine. Heavy line and heavy weight is the trick. I would not use it for cast and retrieve fishing, like with an artificial or popping cork, just bait fishing where you cast it and leave it.

Answer: Yes it does, now mind you this aint no huge reel that uses screws to mount to the rod, however it has served me well fishing in the pacific onshore and offshore. I have caught Tuna, Wahoo, Snapper, You name it I have thrown it at this reel and it is gereat!!!! Highly recommend.

Answer: I use Ugly Stiks. They make one called the Ugly Stik Big Game that should fit your purpose. Decent Quality at a good price.

How many lbs of braid and how many yards can be spooled on here?

Answer: I put over 200yrds of 80lb braid on mine

Answer: As soon as you can expect for a $60.00 reel. It’s not bad

would this be a decent reel for a 6'6" Daiwa Beefstick M/H, with 40 lb mono?

Answer: The reel size is no good for 40 lb. Maximum 30 lb.

Answer: Depends on what you're going after. If you're going after large sharks, the beefstick is fine but the reel a little light. If you're going after anything smaller than large sharks, then the okuma reel would work but then the beefstick would be overkill.
