what it it made of?

Is this net made out of fire retardant materials?

Can it be used to hang on a wall? Can shells and starfish be hung in the netting?

Answer: Yes it can be hung on the wall. It is not made with heavy string so only a few shells could be hung from it

Answer: As long as they aren't too heavy i would imagine it would be ok. I used it as a decoration on a table but it seemed to be well enough made to hang with light objets intertwined in it.

I love this item! Although I purchased one at a local dollar store for only one dollar a few months ago, I bit the bullet on the price and used it to make a cute decoration at a "little mermaid" birthday party. Like the picture shown..
