Is this too big for a kayak? I fish halibut and salmon

Answer: I can’t say about the kayaks, and the ability to store this net, but I will say I love the net! Just recieved it and easily hauled pike in the boat, 21’ scout, sits up high out of the water. For a kayak I would be careful, bigger the net, bigger the fish, salmon are strong, I can’t see any one lifting such a fish from a kayak without great difficulties unless it a release from the side of the kayak. Good luck, love this net

What size is the hoop? The model number provided is for the 32x41 model but the description says 26x30

Sturdy, Retracts easily. I'm happy with my purchase. It's bigger than I thought which is a good thing. Everything from Blackfin Tuna to grouper get scooped in this net, haven't lost one since I started using it.
