what is the mesh size

What is the dimensions?

Answer: The description says "10" wide X 18"deep" but that seems really large. Is this incorrect?

Answer: 6 3/4 inches long,3 3/4 inches wide

Are the dimensions 10" x 18" OR 6-3/4" x 3-3/4"?

Would this be good to throw minnows in and store in the livewell? Would it stay closed?

Answer: I am not sure. We just use it to hold dishes when we wash them in a stream.

what size is the bag

Would this bag work for collecting scallops?

Answer: No it would not. It is too small and lightweight. You would be much better off using a mesh onion or cabbage bag. You could also use a burlap bag which works very well as well.

Answer: I would think so, we use these bags for razor clamming and they work great!

Looks like it's going to work for me. The holes are not too large that I can't put my chicken scratch chum in it . Looks like I will have a slow seeping from this bag and that's what I wanted.
