Answer: Yes,it says right on the front, vacuum seal. They are already cut, to size so you don't have to make them off a roll.

Answer: Yes. These are precut open-ended vacuum sealer bags. They have no manual zip seal ends. Without the heater that automatically seals (i.e., melts) the bag ends, you won't be able to close the bag.

Answer: If you want to seal for freezing, you want to get the air out with a vacuum sealer. If you have a sealer that's not a vacuum, it would be fine for use with a sous vide.

Answer: They are made for vaccuum sealers, but if don’t need vaccuum and you have a sealer it works.

Answer: I actually didn't buy these bags for the sous vide, never even heard of it before. If you read the info on Amazon describing the bags it explains how the bags are made to qualify for sous vide cooking.

Answer: Bags are made to freeze your food without frezzer burn. Your food can be frozen up to a year and drfrosed food is still fresh. Other bags let air get in and frezzer burn occurs.

Answer: Don’t know the exact measurement of the bag material thickness, but the Food Saver bags feel thicker than the aftermarket brands.

How thick are the bags?

Answer: I can’t give you a measurement but I bought these to use with my Sous Vide and they are perfect. I’ve done Short Ribs with bones and larger cuts of meat as well. The bags are much thicker than your average sandwich/freezer bags. Once they are sealed (I always double vacuum seal big cuts or those meats that stay in the water over 6 hours)... no leaks. They work perfectly.
