Answer: Approximately 17 1/2 inches to top of grill and 21 inches to top of smoke stack when not on the stand.

Answer: It is a little over two feet off the ground. Not very high but doable. My problem with the stand is stability. It is a little tippy to the pellet box side, especially if the ground is uneven.

Rob Davis : Fun, economic, entry level pellet smoker.

This is a fun little camping pellet grill. It cooks enough for two, possibly four and it a great way to get started.
It's a little low to the ground, but there's a really good online community which supports it.
The extra shelf was a little annoying as the legs get in the way for food underneath. The mat and cover are worth the extra.
Looking forward to the extra cart being available soon.

I never write reviews, it’s just not my thing. But, this little grill has more than exceeded all my expectations. I read all the reviews of people having issues with temperature control and WiFi. This grill has always held temperature within 2 degrees. The WiFi was a learning curve and I had to refer the grill once but once it was linked up the functioning was flawless. The ability to start my grill and monitor it from work is priceless. When increasing temps or after shutting the lid after it’s been open for a while the temperature will briefly jump as it is producing more smoke to bring the interior temp back to where it’s set. The smoker quickly regulates itself back to where it’s supposed to be. I highly recommend this to someone looking to get into the hobby or looking for a portable option. 5/5!

Updated 8/21 the grill now just shuts itself off randomly while we are grilling. Sometimes igniter fails, others it just gets up to temp then turns off without any codes or anything. We would not recommend this or purchase or again.

We bought this after reading all the good reviews to replace an older grill. We used this for the first time and it makes a HORRIBLE sound, like a very loud (angry power drill) about every 30 seconds. We live in a very quiet area with lots of neighbors and there is just no way we could have this running/smoking something for very long, its incredibly annoying, and extremely disappointing. We looked it up online and it seems to be a common problem having something to do with the auger. I emailed customer support and have not received an answer yet. There is no way we would have purchased this if we knew it was so loud, it's definitely a deal breaker. We do not recommend buying this grill at all.

I wanted this grill to work out for having in the RV but sadly, it’s terrible. It takes the longest time to heat up, like a good 45 minutes to come up to temp, and by temp I meant the initially 150. So, prepare to use a good quarter of the hopper and 1- 1 1/2 hours to get ready for food. Temp control is sometimes ok but is not an even cook inside. The grill has a burning hotspot in the middle, so if you want to actually smoke something large, expect the middle and bottom to be burnt, very burnt if it’s a longer smoke.

The concept is good but it just does not deliver. Really disappointed because it’s pretty expensive but does not perform. I’ll end up giving it away.

Got this little gem for my boyfriend & we take it on trips to beach house, camping, you name it. Heats up & cooks great! Now my sons want one!! Excellent for travel, we don't have to haul our big one & he prefers this to the bigger one we have at home.

This Smoker keeps the temperature within 5 degrees of where I set it. I bought this for the RV we are living in right now and have used it 3 times for Ribs and Pulled Pork. I own a larger Traeger and I like this a lot more. When I buy a larger Smoker, it will probably be a Green Mountain Smoker Grill. The cover that came with it is too big and doesn't fit well. That's the downside.
