local weather today mid 50s cloudy few sprinkles and that darn wind 30 to 40 mph gus,t wind is my least favorable thing to fish in rain , snow, sleet, sunnny, hot i dont care about i, just hate fishing in the wind its a big pain in the butt totally
Hate winds above 12-15
I also hate fishing in the wind. Most of my fishing is done on small john boats on reservoirs that don't allow motors. Anything over 10 mph and it seems I do more rowing than fishing.
Any wind above 20 mph.
Winds are by far my least favorite....anything over 12 with my aluminum boats becomes a pain!
Jeff
Easily fishing in wind, other things I can dress properly for an its no issue. But I have had some outstanding days fishing in the wind
Wind also, nothing makes me more GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRish than that.

It sucks, no doubt. Even when you anchor, you get spun around when the wind shifts. I try to tie the anchor rope off to a point that leaves me aimed properly, and I use a bungee cord as a shock absorber for the anchor rope at the boat. One reason I like the sit-on-top design is that it allows you to sit side saddle if you need to do it. I still prefer the kayak to a bass rig when the big water gets rough.

I had a hard time describing how I feel when fishing in the wind but this is about right.
Winds above 12-15. Add cold to the wind and it's worse. Add rain to that and it whips my butt by the end of the day.

Same here, hate the wind, gusts up to 45mph today pfft! Today is one of those days to play with another hobby
I'd rather be out in snow/sleet/freezing rain than to have wind
Wind is the reason why I didn't get out Sunday(anything over 15mph wind gust). I also won't go out in Storms or any temps below 40.
The heat never bothers me......I could be fishing in 100 degrees weather and I'm good.Just stay hydrated is the key.

Im more concerned about the humidity than the heat
Wind for sure!! Although last Friday had 15-20 mph winds and still went out. My v-hull was like a kite. However, I caught my PB largemouth at about 4.5 to 5 lbs. You better believe next time I'll be back out there again. I am not in a place where I can always chose the best day to go so sometimes it is just part of it.
I can fight the wind. But when it starts snowing and you cant feel your fingers
Hate fishing when the wind is over about 15 mph. I don't mind the cold, as long as, there is no wind chill.
dog days afternoons of summer in Alabama.
high wind can be annoying, but i know everywhere i fish good enough to know where to get out of it. there have been plenty of 100 deg heat index with close to 100% humidity days id pay serious money for a breeze.
I won't go out if the wind is projected to be near 20mph.
I hate nothing more than fighting my trolling motor all day.
That will all change when Minn Kota decides to make the I-pilot compatible with foot pedals.
I will go out in sub-40 degree weather. Bass Pro 100mph gore-tex takes care of that.
I love fishing in the wind. The stronger the better. With a big trolling motor, a big drift sock, and a adjustable lean seat it makes it possible to fight the wind. You just can't be in a hurry or it becomes a safety issue.
I hate fishing cold, muddy water in the winter. It sucks. If I see that I just go home.
While wind is a pain, often the fishing makes up for it and there are usually some spots that are fishable even in heavy wind. I'm with 200racing: cold, muddy water or oppressive heat and humidity take the fun out of fishing for me.
High humidity. I'll fish in it, but, good god is it miserable.
Wind, but I must say, I finished top 3 in (2) tourneys last year and both days wind was blowing 25-35
I hated the wind much more before I got iPilot. I don't like the cold rain. I can fish in a summer rain all day, but a very cold rain in the spring or fall sends me home.

This. If the wind is blowing, I spend nearly half the day trying to stay off the bank.
Being in the Midwest, all y'all are spoiled. If it's blowing less than 20, it's a light wind. I don't consider it rough until it gets to the 30-35 mark.
My least favorite thing to fish in is freezing ran. It makes the boat deck slick and hurts when it hits your face. I don't mind cold, raid, snow, wind, heat, anything but freezing rain.
Wind over 15 mph. Unfortunately, it's going to be more than that all week.
Prefer not to fish in tuff weather patterns, but I'm a bass angler and love a challenge so bring it on.
Clear days with no clouds out. I hate it. I prefer overcast, snow, rain.
I like fishing in the wind. When it is 5-15 mph.... pick up a spinnerbait and go to work. I have caught some of my best fish in the wind. Now if it blows any harder than that you spend more time on the trolling motor than fishing.
15 to 20mph no problem with a wind sock(anything over sucks). I dont like getting caught in thunderstorms...thats about it.

This^ Living in Kansas for most of my life, I can handle wind. I don't even think about it unless it hits 30 mph.
But the combination of cold and wet will have me heading for home in a heartbeat.
Tom
My favorite spot is in a canyon and the wind blows 90% of the time. I also fish on very small crafts and most all wind 10mph + is a real pain. A pain I deal with most of the time.
Fishing in the wind is just HARD! You can dress for the other conditions, but boat control goes out the window in strong winds. And the boat ride back is no fun either!
