Had bass master when I was younger was good mag, thinking about subscribing again. Wondering if there are other good ones, not into infisherman or the northamerican fishing club. Let me know thanks
I like (flw bass ) the best.
FLW Bass and Bass Angler are the two I read now. I used to subscribe to In-Fisherman but they cover too many species I don't fish.
They still print magazines? hehe J/K
I haven't had a subscription in a long time. But at Christmas my mom said she got me a subscription to some magazine. I believe she said Outdoors something. Havent seen it yet but what ever it is that is the one Ill be reading.
I get FLW,Bassmaster Bass angler magazine and Bass times. What to check out bass quest.
Flw and in-fishermen. .
Love Flws product Guide that came out last month.. look forward to it every year..
Who needs magazines when you have Bass Resource ? LOL !!
I usually tend to read articles in here because I can ask questions and get some truly great feedback, something you cant get from a magazine, I used to read a bunch of them until it felt more like to me that I was paying to read advertisements and just a couple of articles, not that those articles were not helpful and not that there are not any good magazines out there, I prefer a more interactive approach that allows me the opportunity to give back as well from what I have learned.
Bassmaster
BASS Times
In-Fisherman (Pick Them Up for 50 cents at the book store, and they really provide good information)
Outdoor Life (More Entertainment than Informative)
Field and Stream
Right now the only one I'm getting is North Carolina Game & Fish for the local aspect. But they aint what they used to be. My stash goes back to the early 90,s, it was a much thicker mag then, more "good stuff". This time of year I'll reference all the pre-spawn vols., dreaming about hoisting fat girls over the side of the boat.

I get Bassmaster but I rarely read any of the articles. Too much information on this web thingy.
SE Kansas grass grower
Field and Stream
Only read Bassmaster mag, I got issues from 1978 to 1990+ in my attic. I don't believe it is as good as it was, I guess because of the intenet.
FLW Bass, Bassmaster, Bass Angler, Michigan Sportsman.
FLW And and Bassmasster
Bassmaster. But I would like to subscribe to bass angler
The wife got me Kayak Angler for a year. But I let it go when it expired. Not a lot of specific information except in regards to kayak advertising.
The Interwebs have so much more than you can get in a paper magazine.
Bassmaster and Bass Times
Mike
Bassmaster and Bass Times also. For many many years now. I agree Bassmaster is not what it was. I like the conservation and state issues that get brought out in Bass Times.
Don't know if you guys remember the old Smallmouth Magazine and the Black Bass Journal . I used to love getting that. Don't know why it died.
I like FLW, just for the free calendar.
Bass Angler is my favorite, especially since they've cut down on the basic grammatical errors that used to be way too prevalent. That being said, I've found something enjoyable/useful out of pretty much every bass fishing magazine I've read over the past few years.
Right now I'm reading In-Fisherman.
Use to be that you had to get magazine subscriptions if you wanted to stay "up" on the latest & greatest. Today, with the internet and sites like this one, that is no longer needed. Way more free information is available now without having to subscribe to anything. Unless you like reading advertisements.
Unless you are looking for material to read while "one the pot" I have pretty much found magazines to be obsolete. So many advertisements and what not that it gets old. Plus add in the fact that after subscribing to a few for several years you all of a sudden have lots of magazines taking up space. You could end up with boxes full of them sitting in storage. With the amount of information and articles found on line plus videos on YouTube I have found the need to rely on fishing magazines to be almost non existent.
When I used to get magazines and such I would use post it notes to mark pages with articles I liked or I would just cut the article out of the magazine and put them in a binder.
Check to see of your state has an outdoor news magazine specifically for your state. in Georgia we have Georgia Outdoor News (GON) which I love, covers fishing and hunting and has reports for every big lake and some rivers, for all the sport fish in those bodies of water.
None - they all pretty much suck, IMO Yeah, bits and pieces of good stuff here and there, but not worth subscribing to in order to get it...but I've been around a while. The old stuff (60s, 70s, even early 80s) was infinitely better. Glad I still have most of my old magazine collections For everything else, there's the Internet.

I've never been a magazine guy, you know, Internet and such. But I got a killer deal and couldn't say no: 1 year Bass master plus a tackle bag for 10$. So I'm just waiting on my first issue!
Good Housekeeping
I've bought one of everything, and if I had to buy one it would be bass angler

x2...
I get Bassmaster--Bass Times--FLW{bass} I feel like I get enough reading info out of these 3 to renew when it is time--I have had a subscription to about all of them at one time or another over the years and some were pretty good and then drooped in quality of info-to me-and I have settled on these 3--I renew when they send out their "special" renewal offers which makes them pretty affordable
