So tonight I decided to do some laundry, when my wife came into the room asking why the house smelled so bad. It turns out I left a Spike-it marker in my pocket and it opened while in the washing machine. I am now running it through again, hoping to get the smell out.
Has anyone else ever done this?
Good luck getting the smell out of your clothes anytime soon.
Bahahahah !
Once, I gotten a package from tacklewarehouse. I opened the box and looked at this Power team lure hog tonic attraction that I just ordered. I open the bottle and took a whiff. "Geez, It smells good" and took two "little" spray in the house.
Lets say that wife wasn't really happy about it cuz it skunked the house for a while
"but I thought it was like perfume ...it would go away in a few hours"
I was really thrown into the doghouse....

that hog tonic is strong stuff
Add a cup of vinegar to the wash. That should take care of the smell. I won't comment on the stupidity because of the glass house thing.

My wife uses vinegar as the cure all in my house also. Will change the smell for one not quite as bad and will last about a week. Never tried it in clothes but it works wonders for dog pee.

I'll have to give that a try.
Do the vinegar and let them air dry outside in the sun.
I'll tell you what my wife always tells me . "Way to go ' Slicko ."
White vinegar is awesome for many things
If any of her clothes were in the machine with your shirt, just give her your cc and say "here honey, go have some fun".....Problem solved
Mike
Once upon a time, my father gave me some great advice. He said "Son, If you're gonna be dumb, you've got to be tough." While what I did before that isn't very important right now, it has proved to be quite useful in several situations.
Just remind her no one is perfect ! Like those pork chops she burnt the other night !
Bahahahhaa guy was doing laundry!!!
Jk
I say well done. You'll never have to do laundry again.

"No, no honey.....its 'senko'."
You think that's bad?.Just try leaving the FREEZER DOOR ajar for 9 days while on vacation. All my bait ,dead shrimp, and frozen fish, squirrels and such all thawing out.O yeah the relationship grew that year!!?
Be careful, she'll remind you of the steaks you "overgrilled" while checking the status of the battery charger!
Don't ask me how I know!

Yeah, that will work.
just remember marriage is a two way street, I try to go the same way my wife goes, less head-on wrecks that way and if you follow behind , you can always take a right or left and even a U turn
That's your fault for attempting laundry, not sure I know how to turn ours on. With that said no ones perfect, I am sure she won't hold a grudge for too long.
Agree with the vinegar, add some baking soda too, the combination should help.
White vinager in the wash and buy a ozone generator the type used on hunting clothes and it will remove the smell from the house.
I thought I got in trouble washing my new sunglass clipons. You are in it
Tough way to get a tie dyed shirt.

I was going to recommend the baking soda too. However, I don't think using both at the same time might work, but maybe. Vinegar is an acid and baking soda is a base and when they're mixed together 6th grade chemistry says they'll neutralize each other at the correct proportion. If the neutralization isn't balanced one of them will be dominant but less potent and probably will be less effective. This is my best guess. So try both, but probably not at the same time, lol

Do a little web browsing and you'll see the combination being used in multiple cleaning applications, the reaction between the two does some pretty nice stuff when it comes to that.
Will do. ? Actually, I kind of feel stupid sounding like an an algebra teacher giving the class a lesson on terms cancelling each other out when simplifying, lol.
