Many thanks to Keri for her behind-the-scenes work to make this happen!
Fun interview, thanks BassResource.
You almost stumped Him on the Ice Cream.
Watched it all, good stuff!
I like it that he acts and carries himself just like a normal guy
One of the better interviews I have seen. I wish he was my uncle lol
Good job - thanks for getting that interview
Super interview, but I would suggest you leave the ice cream question out of further interviews. ;D
Great job on the interview! 8-) I would love to be a mouse in the pocket on days when, unwittingly, someone asks you if you have ever met someone famous. It must be a hoot seeing their reaction when you start spewing names. ;D
Great interview,Thanks.
Glenn, I thoroughly enjoyed your chat with Kevin,
the man's humility only adds to his greatness.
I got a big boot out of Kevin's most memorable fish, a 10 smallmouth.
That's something every smallie fisherman can easily relate to.
Sowhere do you go from the apex? 8-)
Roger
So he's a baseball fan. Surprised Glenn didn't ask him if he was a Jeter fan. They're both Kalamazoo alumni.
Great interview with the machine. I can literally FEEL this guys brain working at 1000 miles an hour. The machine is a force of nature.
Lastly, how amazing would it be to be a fly on the wall, or in this case, perhaps a frog on a lilly pad, next to the bass boat the Machine and Clunn are fishing on together? Are you kidding me?
Imagine the conversation on tournament strategy and tactics, not to mention bass behavior. Good LORD!
I found it interesting that as much fishing as he does during the run of a year, that when he is on vacation, or thinking about other sports or pass times, that he still includes fishing in that and references it in some way as many times as he does. It's like he's consumed with it even when he doesn't have to be.
Thanks for sharing another great interview with us Glenn. I want YOUR autograph!
good interview!
He does seem like a nice everyday kinda guy. I'd kill to be able to spend the weekend fishing w/ him an learning from him.
QuoteI'd kill to be able to spend the weekend fishing w/ him an learning from him.
I would say that would include just about every person on this board
Too cool. He seems like an alright dude.
j.
Thanks Glenn, your interview style really let's everyone know the real person...yourself included. Oh, KUDO'S to Keri and Fluke too
Big O

How can i 'fix' this pc to where i don't get so much lag. To watch the entire interview takes forever with the stopping and starting... anyone!?
I saw him at a show in Phila the weekend after winner at Lay Lake. He taught and hour class on spinner baits. Afterward, he took many questions. We were then told by the host that Kevin had to wrap it up, and he said, "I don't have anywhere to go". The guy signed everything shoved at him without hesitation before even taking the mic when most speakers are not approachable.
Nice work, Glenn.
Pretty neat interview. Thank you Glenn!
QuoteSuper interview, but I would suggest you leave the ice cream question out of further interviews. ;D
How about, "What's your favorite color?"
QuoteSuper interview, but I would suggest you leave the ice cream question out of further interviews. ;D
Too bad. I'm going to ask it in every one of them from now on just to annoy you! 8-)
It's nice to see an interview that doesn't dwell on just the tourney he's fishing or whatever. I like to see the "real" side of the pros.
Cripes, poor guy is a Tigers fan, I almost feel a little sorry for him now, I notice he didn't mention the Lions though ;D
That was a great interview! Shows that these guys are all normal people!
"I'm with arguably one of the best anglers of our time."
Come on Glenn, arguably? Seriously?
Btw, if you run into either Kevin or Zona again, ask them if they are going to improve their dismal showing in the CalibaMich Cup..
Greatest tournament bass angler of modern times, and all times if he keeps it up a few more years.
QuoteImagine the conversation on tournament strategy and tactics, not to mention bass behavior. Good LORD!
I know what you mean! Still, I suspect it might be, "hey can you hand me that bag of 10" green pumpkin worms, Rick?"
great interview... very well done glenn
good interview and kevin is so right about the pros being easily approachable , at a bass tackle show here in southern CA. , i got to talk to quite a few pros and was amazed at how cool they were to talk to and ask questions .i must have talked to Greg hackney and Scott Martin for a total of 2 1/2 hours !!! i love this sport we are in
thumbs up
Thanks guys.
