Hey guys, how many days in a year do you go fishing for bass?
Thanks,
5150basser (formally known as 5150bass until my email took a turn for the worse and I could not remember or retreive my password)
I fish 125+ days per year for bass.I only target bass, and I'm totally cafch and release.I'm retiring from coaching and teaching at the end of the current school year after 26 years in the trenches.I hope to find a job that allows me to fish about 150+ days per year.
I am with RR, I fish at least 3 days a week and as many as 5 a week. I am addicted. So I guess a total of 150 plus days a year.
I go probably 175 to 200 + days.
I fish for bass around 75 to 100 days a year!! 8-)
I am probably in the 150-200 days area (I know, its a big swing). I am lucky enough to have a pond and lake adjacent to my house, so I walk out and start fishing every day. Also like rogue, I practice only c&r, with the hopes that when I catch that fish next year it will be that much bigger
not enough
I average around 200 days per year.
Being retired deifinitly has some perks 8-)
Quotenot enough
I'm with LBH on this one.I do fish anywhere from 3-5 days a week but on my trips I only get to fish 3-4 hours each time out, unless its tournament day.
Rattlinrogue!! Isn't sad how we just retire to another job. :'(
I'm with LBH and fivebasslimit, not enough!!
I'd have to say somewhere between 75 & 100. And hoping to do a more than that this year!
I'd say about 75 a year.
Winter - not much maybe a couple times all winter.
Spring - about once a week. I cant get out that much with school, and the closest lake is 45 minutes away and the closest ponds I can fish are 30 minutes away.
Summer - about twice a week, but I hope to increase this due to me fishing tournemants starting this year.
Fall - maybe once or twice a month. I cant get out much then because thats right during football season and football is my sport. I have either practice or a game almost every day, plus school is starting back up.
Winter-about 3 times a week
spring-about 5 days a week
summer-EVERY DAY!!!
Fall-about 3-days a week
I try to get out every day but sometimes in the winter and spring its just to cold at night to sneak onto the local farm ponds.
Like L-B-H and fivebasslimit Not Enough!
I stay reel busy keeping the rest of the anglers on the water.
I a big job and I love doing it... ;D
Tight Lines!
Couldn't tell you but it's a nasty number... 8-)
Let me add to mine.....My wife says to much.
put me down as another, Not Enough! ...Siiiigggghhhhhh! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Wow....I just figured out how many days a year
I fish for Bass.
Don't be mad now, I was out of work do to an illness
for 1 1/2yrs. I got back out this past season and
Subtracting 27 days in Dec, I was ice Fishing for 4 days.
Take off 3 days for November for not fishing.
312 Days!! (and some times I went twice a Day)
I have Friday and Saturday's as my days off. I fish every friday and then fish some tournaments on Saturdays. If I don't have a tournament I don't fish, I spend time with my wife. Amazingly, the more time I spend with here the more she wants me to go fishing ;D. Throw in a few evenings in the Summer and I get to go about 75 times a year.
QuoteI go probably 175 to 200 + days.
how i wish i was on your shoes. well someday i will
300+ Days I'm not fishing I'm doing something fishing related.....cleaning reels, boat maintenance, tackle making or feeding the bait monkey! ;D
I'm in the not enough column, but if I put a number to it, it's in the 70-90 range.
Holy Cow!! I am lucky if I can get out once a week.
I fish every day there is not ice on the water. I am lucky enough to have a 2 1/2 acre pond about 75 yards from my front door and if I am not at the lake I am at the pond.
Kelley
Well, I fish about 175 to 200 days a year. Now I am starting a guide service so I will HAVE to fish even more. ;D

Dude, I'm with you. A job, wife, two small children and the distance between my home and the water all equal what many have said..... NOT ENOUGH!!!
TC
From Jan 1, 05 to Dec 31, 05, I fished 183 days.
Over the past six years I fish an average of 160 - 200 days per year.....but my nearest body of water is an hour away and I frequently haul my boat that distance to fish for as little as an hour and a half. My wife is committing me next week, ha ha ha .
