I see a top 50 championship right here.....lol
I want to get Omori's
Woo, Jimmy Houston, Mike Wurm, Gary Klein, Tommy Biffle, Paul Elias, and Jay Yelas for sure. I got the autographs in 1998 on a hat which is in excellent condition I just can't read some of the names. I also have a 35th Anniversary Ranger Boat Hat signed by Forrest L. Wood which I have been told is one of only a few produced. Does anyone know about the Ranger anniversary hat?
QuoteI see a top 50 championship right here.....lolI want to get Omori's
If you give up on getting Omori's let me know. I will send it to you. I dont collect them, I just had the magazine with me when I met Swindle and Omori and had them sign it. Both signed their pics. If you collect them, it would mean more to me for you to have them than for me to have them.
I have the phone numbers and email addresses for almost everyone mentioned, but the only autograph I have is from Woo. I got that one when I was about 12. A lot of those guys I happen to know and I might feel odd asking for their autograph.
JT Bagwell
Hey JT your a Yamamoto Pro, do you mind if i could add your autograph to my collection. Kinda wierd asking you for your autograph since everybody is saying names like Omori, Clunn, Cochran, Swindle.
LOL Weird is right.
JT Bagwell
I have been trying to sell mine on ebay.
But I stopped when the bids entered negative territory ( iwas paying for people to take 'em)
LOL
how do you get all these autgraphs? mail stuff in or just happen to run into all these guys?
I received a letter from Ronald Reagan in 1976, before he was president...does that count? LOL ;D ;D
I've only got a few:
Ray Scott, David Fritts, Rick Clunn and Bob Cobb. Don't get too many pros or big tourneys in my part of the country. All very nice guys!
Some ways are easy to get them...attend fishing shows. Attend big fishing tournaments if close by or use that as an excuse for a vacation and hit them up for one.
JT, when I was acting, it was weird for me to ask for autographs from them too...and I met and talked with some of the biggest back then..Tom C., Arnold S. just to start. Never got their auto's. Was just nice to talk with them and get to know them.
Gadabout Gadis.
I have a hat with, Jimmy Houston, Kevin VanDam,Larry Nixon, David Fritts, Tommy Biffle, Hank Parker, Mike Ike. Rick Clunn. On it and cards signed buy them all . Then I have pictures of me with Bill Dance signed by him. Also Have Jack Wingates autograph on one of his shirts from Lake Seminole.
Not to get off topic, but Squid, what movies or shows were you in when you were acting?
JT Bagwell
And what were they rated?
HAHA..to the last note...lol I worked Melrose Place,
Wonder Years, Empty Nest, I worked in Last
Action Hero, A few Good Men, Hoffa, Music Video November Rain by Guns and Roses, and Love Connection to name but a few. Oh my favorite movie to work on was Robin Hood Men in Tights...that was a fun time.
Did you have big speaking roles, minor roles or work as an extra? In other words, if we watched them could we easily see you?
JT Bagwell
Did you have any lines in these movies or was you an extra? im sure id rember that mug
I see great minds think alike
Well in the TV shows I had bit parts...no speaking roles. In the movies I was a working extra. So yes in TV you can see me really good and know it is me, cause I have lots of camera time. In the movies that I have worked on, I can find myself...lol When I got started, I never knew there was such a thing as a perfessional Extra, but some have been doing that for 5-15 yrs, and some are in the Union too. Not me...I gave it 2 yrs, and if I didn't get any speaking part I was on to my next role in Life. The Union Extras do pretty good finacially, but it took me 2 yrs just to get there, but I had had enough with that. It was fun while it lasted, but I needed to see what I really enjoyed more. I do miss it, but don't want to go back. One reason why I quit was I got really good a selling sports cards and Insurance. Was better money for me, then moved back to Mich. Now I am freezing my butt off...lol...wish I could go back there and do what I am doing now....lmao.....Bigger Bass out there.
Sounds like you had a pretty interesting time.
JT Bagwell
Atleast you had the chance to live it.
Oh I really enjoyed it. Met some really cool people and some buttheads too. But that is Show Bizz
Back on the autograph topic, I have a hat signed by:
Roland Martin, Jimmy houston, kevin vandam, shaw grigsby, brent chapman, woo daves, dean rojas, rich tauber, edwin evers, david fritts, mark davis, denny brauer, chad brauer, mark menendez, gary klein, joe thomas, gerald swindle, and Davy hite.
I also have crankbaits magazines and trading cards signed by these pros.
QuoteIf you give up on getting Omori's let me know. I will send it to you. I dont collect them, I just had the magazine with me when I met Swindle and Omori and had them sign it. Both signed their pics. If you collect them, it would mean more to me for you to have them than for me to have them.
GamblerFL,
That would be really cool of you to do that for me, but half the fun is getting them yourself. To give you an idea...I collect Michael Jordan autographs, but can you imagine how much more it would mean to me if I got one on my own? That would be so awesome to meet him in person, ya know? Same thing goes for the fishing pros too.
But if you do ever feel the need to throw it my way :..lol... I will take them off your hands
