im trying to find out from some folks on what their favorite worm is. is it a curly or ribbon tail or straight and paddletails? this is for tx rig applications for weedlines and flipping.
Mine right now is a Zoom Old Monster. I will also throw a Zoom Big Dead Ringer too. The Dead Ringer falls pretty slow and I have caught a lot of fish on it this year.
The Rage Tail 10" Anaconda has been a big producer for me this year. They've actually worked themselves into a spot in the same storage bin as my Power Bait worms. That's saying a lot.
I expect the new Rage Tail Thumper worms to be awesome producers as well.
Definitely a Zoom Mag II in JuneBug or RedShad! Flipped, pitched, swam, cast or weightless!
7" Rage Tail Anaconda hands down.
Zoom Mag II
Yum big show 10" paddle tail (wat/red) or Luck E Strike baby huey
Zoom Ol' Monster or 6'' U-tail in Red Shad, Junebug, or Wat. Red. ;D
Berkley powerworm without a doubt. Works in any conditions for me.

#1 Texas Rigged Gene Larew 7 ½ Salty Ring Worm Cinnamon Pepper Neon/June Bug Laminated (Camouflage).
Theres so many I use faithfully it's hard to say.But if I had to choose my number one go to worms they would be 7.5 and 10 inch Yum ribbons,Yamamoto 6.5 inch kut tails, and Gambler 8 inch flapper tails.
I've done well with the Zoom 6" U tail, catches a lot of fish and is one of the few mass produced worms available in the Smoke Purple color which has been a great color for me. I also like throwing the 10" Powerworm & the 6" Berkely Fliptail. This year I bought a few bags of the Ragetail worms to try but I haven't used it enough to form an opinion, though I'm impressed with the action and have already caught a few on it.

Power Worms seven and four inch. The Berkley baits just get it done for me. I have some others I like very well also, but the Power worms are my favorite by far.
My favorite worm changes with each calendar period, and also changes from year-to-year.
Overall, the best producer in 2009 has been a Gambler Big Stick (7" - watermelon candy)
Our best action-tail worm has been the Strike King Anaconda (7" - green pumpkin)
