Color? Size? Brand? Just curious. Thanks.

those are the only ones I have ever used. Someone from this site gave me one last year and I picked up some more. I caught quite a few fish last season on them I haven't fished tubes at all this season though
Lately is the Berkley Havoc Smash tube and the Megastrike tube. Both float straight up on a shakey head.
For the cold weather I like the Norm Blue or the green pumpkin. Both 4"
Poor Boy or Snack Daddy for a regular tube, anything green pumpkin
SK Flipping Pro model flipping tube for a flipping tube, black/blue, gold shiner, blue sapphire, brown/blue, black neon.
I've used my fair share and my favorite by far is the original Gitzit tube(3.75in) by Canyon plastics in any variation of the brown melon color scheme(personal favorite is the brown melon with purple and copper glitter)
Runner up would have to be the BPS tender tube in Green Pumpkin blue flake or the melon seed w/ green and purple flake.(3.5in) I normally use a 3/16oz Mark Zona tube jig and and just drag and hop em around on the bottom for smallies.
Green Pumpkin yamamoto tube. The 4 inch version is the best there is for flipping and pitching. I go down to a 3 inch trigger-x for smallmouth.
Coffee tubes seem to be the most effective for me. Size and color vary according to the conditions.
there was a great thread on this awhile back but i can't find it.
not only did it mention size and color but guys said whether the tube head was hollow or had a solid tip. the solid tip ones work good for different applications. i deleted the thread b/c i just started pushing a 1/4" cut up senko into the head for the hook to 'bite' into.

Pretty sure you could catch every smallie in town with that setup.
I like the Zoom small tubes. I think they are like 3-1/2" or so. I have never caught a hawg on them, but when the bite is tough they clean up on smaller bass.
My favorite by far is the Snack Daddy Elite Tubes....4 inch Roadkill color....Absolutely deadly.....These tubes have a little bigger head on them which I love. I think they are triple dipped. Very soft and scented. These are the only ones I throw now. Give them a try.... you won't regret.
Been buying my tubes from PROvider Tackle for a while now.
Owned by Art Ferguson - he know something about tubes.

I fish very clear water and a couple of their colors just work here.
Both 3 1/2 and 4 inch in BBQ Melon and Roadkill have been very good.

I use the Zoom salty tubes. I ussually start with GP, but will change to other colors(ie. junebug, water/red etc) depending on the bite and lake. I have also used the SK coffee tubes and find that they work well, too.
I wish I could find a little bigger tube for flipping that comes in more than a two pack.
Yum vibra king tube
For all the great plastics Zoom makes, their tubes are at the bottom of my list.
My favorite tube comes from Chompers; it's a shorter fat tube with plenty if meat in the top where you thread the hook through.
I only have largemouth in my area and this is my favorite tube, with the Yum Vibra King tube being a close second.
Can't believe nobody has mentioned these yet. Dry Creek tubes are the best I have used, followed by Chompers and Yum vibra tubes
PTL Food Chain Tubes
I have had best success with the Stirke King Denny Brauer Flippin' Tube, Net Bait BK tube, and the tubes made by Right Bite Baits.
Cant beat this one -or that one

Yup, but if Bobby made a tube in a blue green okeechobee color and a red craw falcon lake color, I would dump every tube I have and switch to the Megastrikes……….

The double dipped colors they make are deadly! My favorite tube for smallies!
I also like the SK bleeding tubes, too.
Dry Creek Tubes are awesome...especially in baby bass color. They also make some very large tubes. Yum is a very close second.
Tight Lines
I have probably 25 packs of tubes they are my favorite plastic, favorite is probably SK Coffee Tube in Crazy Craw. I find the coffee tubes are some of the most effective yet least durable tubes ive used, however i think most of the coffee infused plastics offered by SK arent the most durable. Still great baits
I would throw more tubes but I'm having a hard time finding good hooks that will allow me to Texas Rig a tube. Either the hooks are too large or too small and don't have enough gap. Do they make hooks specially for tubes where the hook can be buried like a Texas rig?

I don't know what kind of tubes your throwing but for 3.5 gizit a 1/0 gamakatsu offset worm hook works great. The bend of the hook comes threw right at the tenticles of the tube; leaving the hook texposed. you could bury it if you want but I don't find it the need to since the hook is so close to the plastic. I like to push a bell or cone shaped weight up in the nose first and your set.
Gizits work fine for me.

X2 - I've caught a lot smallies and lakers in spring on the white color. And it works when drop shotting smallies down deep in the summertime. And again using the watermelon color on a jig head up shallow in the fall. They work for me.
I barely use tubes, I don't get any action from them. my wife however can smash smallies on them all the time. She mainly uses gitzit 3/3.5in and mizmo's
Power Team lures food chain tube.

Trokar makes a great tube hook for t-rigging.
Mine would also have to be Power Team Lures Food Chain Tubes. I used to be a Dry Creek guy, and they still make a great tube, but I just have more confidence in the Food Chain Tube. Great baits!
