What is the smallest crankbait in your tackle bag that is intended to be fished for bass?
2" #5 Shad Rap
oe
Probably a DT4 or Square A
H2O Ultralight crank 2"
LC 0.5 1 3/4"
LC Fat CB Zero 1 3/4"
kvd 1.0
The ultra-lite snap beans, very small bomber cranks.
I use 2" crankbaits that's my norm. I do use the larger shad raps and larger perch lures sometimes. The bomber FAT A, bomber square A and Norman thin N are some of my favorites.
A guy here won a new corvette here in a local competition
When at the launch his snap bean was hitting the water a large bass hit it. Game over he won.
A Norman baby n.................

LC RC 0.5
LC Bevy Crank

I have some about an inch long be can not remember who made em
My #5 shad raps run pretty true, but other diminutive cranks I've tried haven't. Have those Snap Beans run consistently or do they spin-out during an average retrieve speed?

The ones I've had spin out if you reel fast or fish them on anything heavier than 4lb test. I really like the Yo-Zuri Killifish if I really need a tiny crankbait. It's 1 3/8" long and 1/16 oz. I don't fish them specifically for bass but have caught some really nice ones on it. Also landed a 23lb flathead out of a pond on one fishing it on 4lb test
#7 shadrap
I also carry the smaller rapala original floaters.
One morning after fishing I was about to leave when I heard action on the other side of the low bridge. The bass fry were schooling as the smaller 6"to 8" chain pickerel were picking them off. I put on a small bass colored rapala minnow and started picking off the pickerel one at a time. Finally the bass fry were safe the action slowed down. With so many people taking fish to eat I had to preserve some of the population.
This is the same spot my PB of 10lbs was caught.
I see one guy taking home the boney pickerel to boil them to make fish cakes better than using bass right?

Pee Wee Wart or Daiwa Peanut.

I have a Megabass Grifon-zero wakebait that is tiny - only slightly bigger than a dime. Sunny and Dink Magnet, but fun when fishing is otherwise slow.
I have a MegaBass Type-X OGF Orange back - Goldpearl Frog tha is two and a quarter inches long.
Not caught a bass on it as it is just too cute to throw a lot but last time out it drove the small bass and bluegills nuts.
So I reeled it in before I lost it and put it back in its box.

And how could I forget my Ugly Ducklings???
Two and three-quarters of an inch.

Rebel Teeny Wee Craw. ~ 1/10 oz. Lots of fun on an ultra-light, smallmouth love 'em, as do big ol' bull 'gills.

Strike King's Itsy Bitsy Pond Minnow for me
I have several teeny tiny cranks, the smallest I think is the Mini Fat Rap, followed closely by Rebel´s Crickhopper, Bumble Bee and Teeny Wee Frog. not that I use them for bass, I use them for catching bluegills but I´ve caught tons of lil bass.
