Has anyone fished this bait yet? Is it worth the money? Thanks for any info!

Well if you haven't fished that relatively obscure japanese bait then no one has, LOL.
I haven't but these guys have:

That CASCABEL looks pretty sweet!
That may very well be the first time you have asked about a bait, instead of being the one to give an answer.
I saw that thing on TW's website and it always is low or out of stock. Just looks like a Trap with a lip. But you know how well traps work, so.....
If ya got that cash, give it a whirl and let us know how it is!!!!!

Yeah I know! It weighs a whopping 1oz. I want it!!! ;D

Did you see the Flippin sticks they had? Sick, just sick looking
Wow - a bait I have that t-rig doesnt!!!
It is a great looking bait. Has a pretty exaggerated side-to-side wobble that looks fishy. The feathered treble in the back is real nice too as well as the photo finish. I did swap out the hooks with owners, but they are decent stock trebles.
The bait floats, but will sink a couple of feet with a fast retrieve, and surfaces very slowly. Great for fishing like a big jerkbait almost. Ive only been out with it once to test it out so no fish yet, but I am confident I will get some next yr.
I wonder if there can be a name infringement for those rods. There is a rod maker here in Texas that has been making rods for years with the sidewinder logo?
Man that "real bass" color looks amazing, the most realistic I think I've ever seen on a hardbait. Love how they chose the black feathers on the end hook instead of your average red or white feathers. If you ever see a bass in the water they always have this distinct black color to their tail, enough so you can identify its a bass, very smart they used the black feather, I hope more companies do that with their baby bass pattern baits. I'd love to try one, but 30 bucks is a bit pricey for me on a single hardbait lure.
I just couldn't resist and had to get one of these. The bait looks even better in real life.
I did exchange the stock trebles with larger one's, the factory hooks were a bit small for my taste.
All I have to do now is catch fish with it.
That is a really nice looking lure
I know that bluegill pattern would kill on this pond I fish - main forage is bluegills, there are some big bass in there, and I KNOW no one else would be fishing something like that. I'll probably have to get one, but I'm looking forward to a report on when you use it to see how it works.
Daniel is that bait made out of wood or plastic?

Marty, it's made out of plastic and has no rattles.

T-rig can get them in Europe, japanese companies have a strong presence in Europe, I normally find them in e-bay stores.
Great looking bait Daniel, thanks for the pic. Make sure you post a pic with it hanging out of that 9 pounder's jaw.

Raul, most baits are available from italy but they are way overpriced and the shipping rates are ridiculous. In switzerland you find some LC's but thats about it. I usually buy from japanese ebay stores or ichiban and plat. Check out the crazy prices in this italian onlineshop:

You can not order from the deps web site. The cascabel was just released this december and I haven't found any for sale anywhere.
You might be able to buy it here pretty soon: www.japanprofishing.com

The realiser comes with a stock owner feather treble but it was to small for my taste. I only use feather trebles on topwaters anyways.
Got 2 Deps Cascabel from a friend of mine from Japan today. These things are huge cranks! I bet they're going to catch some good bass in the middle of summer (I hope )
I ended up getting a couple Realisers from the wife at Christmas. She came in one evening and seen your post as I was reading it. She done good. Two good colors for where I fish, bluegill and bass.
Those lures look great. How big is that Casabel?
