I thought i was on his mail list but obviously not! I seen i missed the 68 special sale he had just bf 4th of july. I heard he sold out in just few hours! Not sure why he doesn't bring them to full production.

I'm with ya - I'm on the mailing list as of yesterday but I'm betting I am really have to get in on that sale right away or I'll miss out - again.
I'll watch for it anyway.

They sold out in 38 minutes on their July 4th sale. I logged in at 9:38 and they were all gone...

They get more money for the baits this way.They do limited runs and jack the price up, people who have no job buy them up in no time, then all of the sudden like a freakin magic show they end up on ebay for twice as much money. Supply and demand dictates price - always has and always will.

I'm a swimbait Newbie - but the general consensus seems to be that the 6" baits are left stock & 8" baits get the B Brown re-rig.

They work just fine with the stock hook. I have caught 20 or so fish on this bait and not lost one that has hooked up. I have missed a few tail biters but thats it. The BB rig really comes into play as the weight of the bait goes up.

The Grande's south of the border have a distinct preference for the albino white bait.

Yep. Just keep it on or close to the bottom. I prefer dragging it on the bottom with the reel....

Fish the 68 like you would 8", slow steady retrieve so the oversize tail swims naturally.
No Need to modify the 68.
