How many jigs do you own?

fishing user avatarVinny Chase reply :

Too many to count! I have 6+ sandwich containers full of NorthStar jigs...Let's just say I got hooked for early on.

fishing user avatarSiebert Outdoors reply :

I took a guess of about 60 in my personal stash.

fishing user avatarclayton86 reply :

Iv got probably 40 right now.......... for now.............

fishing user avatarSam Fisher reply :

Same here!

fishing user avatarChris W reply :

I am afraid to count them but I am sure it is well over 100.

fishing user avatarQUAKEnSHAKE reply :

Under 10 just seem to have better luck with other presentations

fishing user avatarslonezp reply :

Alot

fishing user avatarFishing Rhino reply :

I've got at least 60, and that's 60 too many since Mass banned the use of lead as jig heads. Can use spinnerbaits with lead heads, but not jigs. I'll get to use them, but not on a regular basis. And no, I'm not interested in selling them for pennies on the dollar. :leisures-and-sports-076:

fishing user avatarSirSnookalot reply :

Zero bass jigs, but keep on hand about 20 bucktails which I use for offshore fishing, inshore fishing and bass fishing. They are so readily available here I don't worry about running out.

fishing user avatarroadwarrior reply :

Besides fishing, jigs are fun to collect. I have several NorthStar styles. My favorite right now is their

new Flip & Swim Jig, especially Sexy Shad!

Siebert Outdoors produces very high quality jigs and will custom build just about anything you want.

I think I have some of every style he makes, but the Big O is my favorite.

fishing user avatarJig Man reply :

I'm guessing close to 1000. I have them from 1/32 oz to 1 oz. in silicone, rubber, bucktail, maribou and craft hair.

fishing user avatarPrimus reply :

Way past a 100.

fishing user avatarJim_M reply :

10-12. Have not spent the time I need on them.

fishing user avatarBassinMD reply :

I have 2 3700's stuffed to the gills and at least 150-200 in a cardboard box in my garage most of them are still in te packaging , if someone has a good Sale on jigs I will buy out there stock I color I use

fishing user avatargrimlin reply :

I'm close to 100...possibly more.....Never counted them to be honest.

fishing user avatarshootermcbob reply :

I got really lucky twice when buying jigs. one website had the booyah jigs for .99 each and I bought 60. Another time, the Gambler website had jigs on sale for a buck and i bought another 75. Couple that with the local walmart selling strike king pure poisons for a buck...I bought all 32 they had...I am set. :eyebrows:

fishing user avatarRaul reply :

Enough to sink a boat.

fishing user avatarwisconsin heat reply :

I said 20, but its gonna be more soon because i won a silver medal package jig set through one of Northstar custom baits's facebook contests :D

fishing user avatarBankbeater reply :

I have between 20 and 30 of them. Most are 3/8 and 1/8 ounce.

fishing user avatartholmes reply :

A bunch. And when I run out, I'll make more. :eyebrows:

If you count everything from 1 oz. striper jigs to 1/80 oz. panfish jigs, several hundred.

x2

I make it a habit to hit the small mom & pop tackle shops whenever I'm on a new lake, just so I can see what kind of jigs the local guys make. If I see something cool, I'll buy a few of them.

fishing user avatartstone reply :

I think around 10, don't use them much.

fishing user avatarB@ssCrzy reply :

Less than ten at this point. But just bought my first ones from Siebert Outdoors and hope that they are the first of many!!! This is one presentation I would like to become one of my confidence baits.

fishing user avatarBluebasser86 reply :

I made over 400 this past winter, 3 3700 boxes stuffed full of finesse, football, casting, swimming, and flipping jigs. Plus the probably around 50 store bought jigs I had before I started making my own. I know I have lots of jigs I bought on sale still in a tote in the garage, no idea how many might be in there though. Jigs are an easy bait to have a lot of, they'll never go out of style.

fishing user avatarJake P reply :

I havent been fishing them long so not very many. I just put in an order for 20 more Northstar swim, flip and swim and flippin jigs. Close to 30 now.

fishing user avatartomustang reply :

I probably have over 100 for just ultralight fishing.

fishing user avatarAlpster reply :

I'm too lazy to count, here's a few.....

At least 50. I love fishing the JIG

fishing user avatar.ghoti. reply :

Way more than I use. I keep tying on the same ones over and over until I donate them to the lake. I have a few dozen that have never been wet.
