wonder if you can get a power pole on it?

fishing user avatartnriverluver reply :

I really like my Basshunter Bass Baby but with a top speed of about 5 mph it's really slow.  Those are interesting!  If only I could get them to fit into my toyhauler camper like my Basshunter :cry4:

fishing user avatarBrian Needham reply :

but that's what the dual axle trailer is for!

they look like they could be towed behind a motorcycle.

fishing user avatarNot_Here reply :

with my toon & one of those i'd be set for how i like to roll :)

fishing user avatarmartintheduck reply :

I laughed when I saw them using a double axel trailer  :laugh5:

fishing user avatarBluebasser86 reply :

That's a pretty sweet little setup, certainly a big step up from what I'd consider a bass bandit! I bet you could buy a nice, used aluminum for what they want for one though.

fishing user avatarBBD reply :

Were would I put al 8 of my rods in that?  There's no way I'd tourney fish with that.  To each their own, though.

fishing user avatarJrob78 reply :

That is cool.  I wonder what they cost.

There's way more room in that thing than there was in the 8' 2 man I fished out of for years, and we had 8 rods apiece in it several times along with a battery, 2 Cabela's super mag tackle bags, and 2 200 pound guys, I'm pretty sure your rods would fit.

x2 on posting the price. With a new outboard of any kind it has to be "mucho dinero".

Yeah, but what you don't tell us is that you and your friend work as two of the many clowns that crawl out of a tiny car at the circus.  :wink2:

Yeah, it was crowded no doubt, but it can be done. We usually put our bags in the middle of the boat and my buddy stood in the front of the boat while I stood between the tackle bags and the battery at the back of the boat. My rods were on the right railing of the boat facing backwards, his on the left facing forwards. It was a pretty effective system for us and we caught a lot of fish out of that little boat :) We were probably well over the recommended weight capacity of the boat I'm sure.

fishing user avatarBoomer_bassin reply :

No response as of yet on price

fishing user avatarBruce424 reply :

These look awsome!!!!!!!

fishing user avatarcadman reply :

Well, I have nothing to do today at work, so I called the number on the website and spoke to the owner. This is all the info he could give me. Please do not hold anyone to these prices as the new website will be up in January, after they get Coast Guard approval for H.P rating for the boat. Anyway the boat is approx. $4,500 dollars, if you want glitter coat it's more $. Tandem trailer is $2,200, currently a Shorelander trailer, but an aluminum Triton trailer is available. Single axle trailer is $850.00. Reason for the tandem axle is it tows better behind a car. Don't have a price on the outboard, but a 9.9 motor will push that boat up to 23 mph. A 45lb V2 Minn Kota trolling motor is $500. Rods go on the passenger side of the boat, with the rod tip sticking out toward the stern of the boat. Graphs can be added and transducers are epoxied in the floor. Livewell in the back along with some storage. Bilge pump can be added. Apparently very stable in water with 1 foot waves. I got this info from Steve the owner.

Moderators, this is not a advertisement and I have no stake in this company. I was just curious what the cost was and wanted to pass it along to other since they inquired. Please delete if you find this unacceptable.

fishing user avatarBrian Needham reply :

call me crazy but those seem to be reasonable prices.......... $8k(or less) probably to really trick it out soup to nuts, not bad I say.

I thought the same thing. The cost similar to a personal size watercraft. Small enough to get into ponds that require electric motors only. Definitely can hit bigger waters if you watch the weather and stay close to shore. You can have all the options you want. Custom made to the color you want. Not bad at all in my opinion. He did mention that the entire boat was filled with foam. So if you stand up, it does not have a tendency to want to tip. Granted, probably not a tournament boat, but let's face it you don't need a big fancy boat to catch fish. You can catch fish in anything if you can locate the fish and then entice them to bite.

fishing user avatarGoose52 reply :

I'm always interested in small, efficient watercraft and this boat sure looks nice.  However, it still needs a trailer and would require, effectively, the same storage space as a larger boat (a garage bay or a spot on the driveway) so it's a no-go for me.  Still, it's pretty cool.

Some of you might remember back in 2010 when we were drooling over a similar concept - the small Megabass graphite/carbon fiber mini-bass boat - here's the link:  Megabass boat

fishing user avatar00 mod reply :

What are the dimensions of the boat?

Jeff

fishing user avatarflyfisher reply :

Well.....interesting but kind of crazy.  I could see maybe having them as fleet boats on a small lake somewhere or something but i don't get the purpose really.  I think i would go with a twin troller instead for less money.

Also with the tandem trailer i believe here in VA you have to pay personal property tax on the trailer but not if it was a single axle.

Not sure of the dimensions but it does state it is a 14' boat motor and trailer combo so i would guess the boat to be 12' or so maybe?

fishing user avatarBrian Needham reply :

seems to be the perfect boat for a guy that fishes HP restriction lakes (9.9limit) or fishes alone on a budget yet wants to be comfortable/perks of a "big" boat.

If I fished small waters, I'd get one.

I believe the owner did say that it was 12' and they are also going to have a 15' one as well. I guess if I had all the money in the world I would buy one just for small lakes. It does look kind of cool

They sell rod racks and cooler racks and the such for PWC's already

No thanks, I rather have a 14 feet grizzly rig out with a 25Hp for that price!  If it sits at 5k-6k, then it would sell.  A 9.9HP is only $2.5k at most.  That boat shouldn't cost you more than 2.5k to 3.5k.
