I had a machine years ago that was so loud and hot that i had to use it outside. Is this an issue with this machine?
Answer: this one can be used inside the house. i would suggest that if you have a basement or spare bedroom that is where you operate it though. it is a little on the loud side. i set mine up in the basement and don't have any other problems.
Answer: I love this machine. It's very quiet. I love the tray size as they fit easily in the dishwasher. The temp is set in centigrade so you'll need to convert to fahrenheit for proper temperature settings. I give the machine an A+.

I bought it for my parents as a new year gift because my mom plant a lot of fruit and vegetable every year, especially in the summer time, we were force to eat tomato due to excellent harvest of tomato. We like tomato, but it doesn't mean we like to eat it every day which can cause us to hate it. And my dad want to make some dry sausage and preserved meat in winter. So far, we have dried sweet patatoes, made jerky , and made the most delicious yogurt!
We LOVE this product. This product has exceeded my expectations. The seven drying racks give more room to dehydrate more fruits or meat. You just set the temperature and timer and it dries what you need. I always do it at night, and enjoy it in the mornings. Now it is my familys' new favorite toy!

What a waste of money. Tried to dehydrate bananas. Followed the directions for using lemon juice to avoid browning. After 12 hours or more all i got was brown bananas that were just as wet as when they went in the machine. I sent it back and got a full refund.
