I purchase my ground beef at Costco and then freeze it in vacuum bags for later use. I used a FoodSaver brand vacuum sealer and it worked fine for about five years, then petered out - the seals kept failing and the machine just didn't seem to work that well after that length of time. I upgraded to a WireCutter choice - the Nesco and it works great.
I wanted to have a backup in case the Nesco fails over time and picked up this Cesuden model. It is considerably smaller than the Nesco, and there is the problem - it does not handle wide bags well - in fact, not at all. I often use vacuum bags that are 11 inches wide and while these fit in the Cesuden machine, they never evacuate all the air from the bag - they just drone on and on without doing anything. If you use the 8 inch bags that come with the machine, those will work. But it would take a lot of bags to vacuum pack 5 or 6 pounds of hamburgers for use down the road - it's doable, but it would be a lot of work.
And this machine is pretty slow at doing its job. It runs for quite a while before stopping the vacuuming and then sealing the bag - it is NO SPEED DEMON! And then, it doesn't provide any signal to tell you that it is done - the lights stay on, making you wonder if it is still sealing the bag or not. After about 20 seconds, I took a chance and opened the machine and it was, in fact, done.
This is a cheap imitation of a vacuum sealer. It works, and does vacuum and seal properly. But it is too small and too slow to be anything but a last resort backup for me.

I've never used one of these before so I'm a first timer. It doesn't have alot of direction but my son in law showed me how to use it. It works fine. Great for separating meat and storing in freezer.

The instructions are wrong. They say that after inserting the sealer bag into the sealer unit, press the Vacuum Seal Key. Do not. Well, you can’t because no such key exists. If you press the Seal key, the unit will seal the bag without withdrawing the air. Instead, press the Auto key which both removes air and seals. The video shows the unit properly removing the air and sealing the bag with a hamburger inside.
I can’t see a use for a handheld sealing unit but I sure can the receiving jar. I’m disappointed at the swap. Then again, it did take some experimentation but we finally did figure out how all of it works. Now that we have, we’re completely happy with the device. Retail customers are protected by a return policy from missing pieces so I’m a bit annoyed but still going to give this a recommended buy rating.

I got the golden version and it looks absolutely beautiful (see photos). Vacuum sealing food is as easy as:
- put food in vacuum sealing bad
- put the bag in
- press the auto button
See the video for a better idea. This is perfectly adequate for my needs of preserving grains and nuts. I have not tried it on wet foods yet but there is a moist/wet mode for that purpose. There is also a mode for sealing delicate foods.
The buttons are elegant looking and respond to touch instantly. Overall, this comes across as a well thought of design executed with precision. I will update my review if the machine dies on me but for now, it is a solid value for money purchase.
HEYOOO : Good
This is a decent, no frills vacuum sealer. Sure, it's a no-name brand, but it still works well. I use this machine with 11inch bags to store my 3D printing filament and the bags have held their air for over a week now. I also vacuum seal my coffee beans in 10inch bags. See my attached photos. Overall, I'm happy with this lightweight unit.

Cesuden Automatic Food Saver Vacuum is a small vacuum that uses smaller bags, 8 inch. It would be good for a single person or two, but would get frustrating for someone to seal large amounts of food at a time. it takes a while to get the food sealed but it does get there. I love the size and sleek design of this sealer. It doesn’t take up much room in the pantry. It’s a nice sealer, but could have used more directions. It works great for sealing dry items, but moist items tends to make a mess to be cleaned up. It came with a small pink thing that we had no idea what it was. We discovered that it needed batteries and quite by accident discovered that it’s a mini sealer! Nice! We sealed up all our opened chip bags! Nice sealer that does work once figured out!

The vacuum sealer machine is really a good tool in the kitchen, and this one sealer inculded a lot of tools. It's different from my previous vacuum sealer machine, the sealer can also evacuate the sealed tank and wine bottle (included a hose), that is not only vacuum the plastic bag. There is an extra mini hand sealer and it is very convenient to use. The vacuum sealer is easy to use and the button is touch, inside has the bag cutter. Especially the size of the machine is smaller than my previous vacuum sealer machine and it is easy to store.
