New Jersey Foodies : Works well enough, lacks product instructions
The Cesuden Automatic Food Saver Vacuum Sealer Machine works well. I used it to seal a package of roasted beets. However, the instructions leave much to be desired. There is no information about how to use the vacuum sealer and a gadget that is with it has no explanation for its use. I think that the bags provided with the sealer are smallish and larger ones would be better. It will be nice to use this vacuum sealer machine when I can figure out how it is supposed to function!
S.G. : Works with small bags only
I wouldn't say this vacuum sealer is totally functional because it has certain limitations for my household. We are many people in the house, so we tend to save large portions of food together at once, hence we use large storage bags and this vacuum sealer won't work with large bags. It worked well with bags that are a bit larger than my hand, but not with the large ones I have. I'm keeping my old reliable vacuum sealer.

WD : Not great for moist items (UPDATED REVIEW)
When I wrote my review, I had only done a few items that didn't have as much "juice." Using this some more I had to take off a star. The Foodsaver vacuum sealer has a removable drip tray for when you are vacuuming moist items such as ham, marinated items, etc. This one doesn't and will drain into the machine where the only option to rid of the moisture is to wipe it out with a towel. I would now rate this 3.5 stars since it works really well and is compact, but the inconvenience of having to constantly clean the machine when vacuuming moist foods is a bit of a pain.

I have owned many vacuum sealing machines over the years and at least 3 have been FOODSAVER branded ones. They work well but are quite expensive. This little sealer worked as well as my FOODSAVER in the vacuuming and sealing department. Where they differ is the build quality and the function.
The FOODSAVER has a built in cutter and roll storage. It helps, but I don't think it is necessary. The CESUDEn has a portable cutter stored just under the lid. I personally think that a smaller footprint is more important. The buttons on the FOODSAVER also works much better. As you can see in my video, the buttons don't respond accurately and sometimes needs several attempts to get it going. This is not to say that I would hands down choose the FOODSAVER, in fact, the CESUDEN has some great features
Aside from having a small footprint, the CESUDEN also has a very rectilinear shape so its also much easier to store in a cabinet or drawer compared to the odd shaped FOODSAVER. The lid also clamps down to help keep the bag in place without the need for additional assistance.
Overall this is a great performing machine that gives you all the function that you will need at a lower price. Great for those that aren't sure if you will use it or will use it infrequently. Its always easier to dip your toes in when it isn't a couple hundred dollars.

Used this sealer to package homemade candy gifts and it worked well once I knew what I was doing. Unfortunately, no instructions were included in the box. Looking forward to trying this on items that I want to freeze and see how it holds up doing different size bags. Tested the handheld sealer on an open bag of baby carrots and it worked like a charm. Can see using this on items like crackers that don’t get eaten too quickly in my household.

I've been looking for an alternative way to save food so it doesn't go bad. My main issue I was trying to solve was my chips and cookies, because they always got stale way too fast. What I really liked about this vacuum sealer is that it works pretty quick and does the job fantastically.
The mini sealer does need a battery in order to function correct. It took me a few tries to really get the hang of how to use it. You have to press down completely and got to make sure you're not going too fast or it won't seal properly or there will be air leaks which defeats the purpose of using this.
If you're looking for a better way to maintain your food like I am instead of just using a rubber band or chip clips this is a good alternative and it actually makes your snacks from become stale so quickly after opening.

Daniel L. R. : Multifunctional small vacuum sealer machine
The vacuum sealer machine is really a good tool in the kitchen, and this one sealer inculded a lot of tools. It's different from my previous vacuum sealer machine, the sealer can also evacuate the sealed tank and wine bottle (included a hose), that is not only vacuum the plastic bag. There is an extra mini hand sealer and it is very convenient to use. The vacuum sealer is easy to use and the button is touch, inside has the bag cutter. Especially the size of the machine is smaller than my previous vacuum sealer machine and it is easy to store.
salt of the earth : not impressed...came stuffed into plain box with no instructions and half the items unwrapped
I am not promoting the use of more plastic packaging, but the item felt like it was used..or at least a returned item as some of the pieces like the cord and an accessory hose were just junked into a crevice in the box . There were no real instructions...and what did come in the plain brown box were hard to read and harder to understand. It came with a few bags...and they are specialized so you cannot, that I can figure, use other brands of bags or regular grade bags. It does work, it occasionally missing something in the seal and I have to re-seal it because of air leak. The plus side is that it is much smaller than sealing machines that we have had in the past. Would not do this one again..though to be fair it is usable as a sealer...just not very good at it.

I love the size and sleek design of this sealer. It doesn’t take up much room in the pantry. It’s a nice sealer, but could have used more directions. It works great for sealing dry items, but moist items tends to make a mess to be cleaned up. It came with a small pink thing that we had no idea what it was. We discovered that it needed batteries and quite by accident discovered that it’s a mini sealer! Nice! We sealed up all our opened chip bags! Nice sealer that does work once figured out!
