Answer: Yes, we were able to use 11 inch bags from our old machine. However, with our old one we were able to put the roll in the machine and roll out the size we needed, seal, then fill and seal the other side. It is a very good machine for the price.

This is the second home food sealer I got. This is better than the one I had before. It’s cheaper with cutter. It’s very easy to use and the cutter is very sharp. It’s a very good deal because one sealer comes with 2 rolls of food sealer bags and 5 heat bags.

The vacuum sealer is a great buy for the money. It vacuumed well and is simple to use. The only issue is that you must seal a couple of times for a tight seal but it is easy to do. Very happy with it, great value and recommend it.

Milly : Sharing my tips for first time users for this effective machine

It is very easy to use once you know how to. It works effectively. Although the machine is simple, I did try a few attempts to figure out how. Didn’t notice the user manual was in the bags and rolls, so I was just trying to use the machine without any instructions. So guys, make sure to look for it in the bags and rolls they gave you. I was complaining why it doesn’t have a user manual and then I found it after I already figured out lol. I like the customized bag cutter, it is a quick cut. But make sure you are leaving some room for sealing and more if you want to vacuum. You need to put the open bag in the vacuum chamber so you need at least two to three centimeters outside of your food. My first attempt is I am cutting the bag too small so I cannot vacuum it, I just sealed it. Another point to notice, you need to seal one side first if you are using the roll. My second attempt, I noticed the seal wasn’t perfect and the vacuum takes longer than I expected. It’s a failure because I didn’t noticed you need to press the lid hard until you hear click. I am just closing it in this attempt so that will not work out. I finally figured it out. If you are using the roll, cut your bag first with some room to seal both ends, seal one end first, put food in, make sure the bag open ends in the chamber, press the lid until you hear clicks, select mode (either dry or moist food), select vacuum seal, then it will work for you. The light will let you know if it is still working or it is done. Took me ten minutes to figure out all these without instructions and it works and exceeds my expectations.

Product contuniously jammed. Turned it off, followed directions to fix, I could not get it to work properly. Attempted to contact sellers with no response. Im grateful for Amazons return policy. I personally will not order this product again from this seller.

I have an Anova immersion circulator and I always make steak with my sous vide machine. Before I got this vacuum sealer, I always packed the steaks in a ziplock bag. Needless to say, there was always a lot of air left in the bag and I knew I needed a vacuum sealer. This sealer is incredibly strong and the bags they came with were extremely sturdy and I felt comfortable knowing that they could withstand the heat of the sous vide. I also love how the bags are BPA free.

Overall, the sealer is amazing and does its job perfectly, and the bags that it comes with are very fit for the job. Would recommend to anyone

I used this for the first time . I have used some older models, but this does not compare. It was a great deal. the vacuum worked flawless. the latch system worked Much better than the old ones and the latch has a store position which I liked. the heat sealer closed the bags and sealed them completely. the Vacuum pulled the air out of the bags quite tight.. I like saving money and buying food in bulk that was a deal I can put in the freezer knowing it will be good with no freezer burns when I need them. Don't hesitate. Good buy.

This machine performs as advertised. I have been a customer of the FoddSaver brand of vacuum sealer since they first came out. I have had seven of them. My complaint is that last for a year and a half or two years, then they fail to create a vacuum. I use these machines a lot as I buy in bulk, and sometimes package up 100 to 150 pounds of meat. I decided after last FoodSaver failed halfway through 60 pounds of pork, it would be my last one. I ordered this machine and it arrived on time as promised. It has done exactly as it was advertised. I am going to order an additional machine to take with me when I travel as I take advantage of sales, and need to seal and freeze as I buy.

I found this vacuum sealer got easy to use by the third bag. The instructions are a little lacking but the job the vacuum sealer does is a great job for the value. I found it sealed very tight and with the pre bags already sealed on one side all you have to do is put your items in the bag and choose to just seal the end or Vacuum to remove some of the air out. The process is easy and takes about a minute.

I feel like I should have used vacuum sealer sooner. Now I save much space in my freezer. It is easy to use. Just make sure you leave some space on the top part of the bag for the sealer to work . Very happy with this machine.

Now I can split the large meat packs from Costco into small packages without worrying about the bad smell of meat in the fridge. It also save the space of our refrigerator since vaced packs are better and easier to be organized. Even though there is not too much details in the manual about how to cut the plastic bags and how much size to prepare, how much needs to be insert to the vacuum chamber, after you figure it out it is actually quite straightforward to use.

UPDATE: Buyer beware, after using this for a month it broke, I am so disappointed with this vacuum sealer! I lIKed it at first but the quality is awful. I've had numerous vacuum sealers over the years and this is by far the best one I have ever had. I do a lot of sealing of food for my deep freezer, and this one did great with everything from liquids to dry ingredients. I live in Florida where bugs can be a problem so I freeze almost all of my baking items such as flour, Bisquick, pancake mix, etc. I also buy extra items like sugar and seal it until I'm ready to use, this sealer sealed the first time and the seal was so good I didn't need to do a second seal. I can also seal a lot of items one right after the other without having to wait in between like I did with my previous sealers. I love that it has an attachment to seal liquids in the large containers, it vacuumed multiple containers of soup and fruit with no problem. Since I live in a hurricane area I also vacuum sealed important family photos and documents to protect them in case of flooding or hurricane damage, after sealing, it is a water-tight protection for things important. This sealer is so easy to use and the manual does a really good job of explaining how to operate it. The vac/pulse feature sets this sealer above other sealers available and gives me a lot of control on delicate items or liquids that I am putting into a sealing bag. I can't say enough good things about this machine, I am so happy with it, I have used it almost daily since I purchased it and always works perfect. I highly recommend this machine.
