How big are the bags?
Answer: They are a good size almost like 8 X 10 picture. I did buy a couple of extra rolls of bags. The other ones i bought you can cut to size but when you do just cut enough so you can seal one end and then put your food in it but also have enough room to seal the other end when you close it. That way it has room to get the air out and seal. The machine is very easy and i like it because its just thin enough to not take up alot of room.

I used to pack steak in Ziploc bags, but I was not able to get the air out of the bags. So I bought this vacuum machine and it also comes with some plastic bags. This machine is light and easy to use. I can exhaust the air in the bag with just one click of the button! Now I can go to Costco and buy a ton of Steaks!!!

I purchased the vacuum sealer and it has such a learning curve. Luckily there are videos that come with the item on here. The vacuum sealer didnt work at first but AFTER I watched the video I was ok. The additional vacuum sealer bags I purchased DIY cutting and sizing however didnt work that well as you have to cut them REALLY REALLY STRAIGHT in order to get them to work. It took a minute but now I see, DO NOT USE THE BAGS THAT ARE NOT ALREADY SEALED ON ONE END, YOU WILL WASTE BAGS. JUST BUY THE PRECUT ONES FOR WHAT YOU NEED. its a lot easier to deal with.

This is by far the best vacuum sealer I've used. Its sturdy fast and has good options including a manual pulse. Even has a built in bag cutter. I even vacuum sealed a normal bag of cereal and it worked! I am very impressed all around.Oh the built in pen is great too! Very happy with this product.
