Missanonymous : Netting is poor quality

Received these very fast. Good sized rings, however very light. Pretty much ready to use too which was nice. But after only a couple uses. I have found that the netting is falling apart in several different spots. Very disappointing. I just spent an hour trying to repair one of the rings. Hopefully it holds.
I had better luck finding used rings on Craigslist that needed repairs. My advice. Reallly do your research on the manufacture of the ones you buy and make sure they do have a high quality product. I guess this is one of those things you get what you pay for.

Stuart Hoffman : Decent quality at a great price

The stainless bottom wire is great for keeping attached bait firmly centered in the rings. The side netting seems somewhat soft. I'm not sure what type of material it's made from but on a first outing it held up just fine to plenty of abuse from stubborn crabs and rough handling . The basket shape is plenty deep enough to keep crabs in on the way up. The rings laid down flat, upright, and wide open and they gathered lots of crabs quickly. You might want to replace the supplied pull rope with a sinking leaded rope to help avoid prop tangles, 1/4 inch worked fine.
