Answer: I have used it on cheese bags. I had to do it a couple of times. It is best to cut off the top each time. This is my favorite gadget!

Answer: It's not a vacuum seal.It fits to coated aluminum foil bags are recommended PP,PE,PVC bags with thickness no more than 0.3mm. Not suitable for pure paper packaging, pure aluminium bags.

Does it stay hot if batteries are left in? Are we supposed to take batteries out each time we finish using it? Or is there an off setting?

Answer: No, it no need taking out the battery every time you use it. You only need to slide and close the cover on heating pad after use. The product will automatically power off. And you just need to slide open the cover next time you use it.

This is a portable handheld sealer for sealing plastic bags and thinner aluminum bags. So far we've tried them on some plastic bags and it is pretty easy to use. You just slide back the middle cover and swipe away. Of course, you may need to cross seal to properly secure some bags. Also, there is a spring loaded knife on the top, so keep this away from kids. Batteries are included, and there is also a magnet on the back for easy storage on your fridge.

I love it! We usually use the clip but it always ends up fallen off or missing lol, found out about this thing through a friend and it works like champ. At first it was a bit tricky to use but after couple use, i manage to get used to it just make sure you hold it evenly and it should be good. Also be careful with the hidden knife since it’s sharp enough to cut you. Overall, im happy with my purchase.

We always seem to be looking for bag clips for potato chips and other snacks. This bag sealer is quick and easy to use. It takes a bit of practice. I like the magnet on the back to stick it to the fridge so it's handy. There is no wait time for it to heat up, by the time you get it lined up it is hot. The key is a smooth sliding motion.

It seals the bags well, but takes a little getting used to to make it as air tight as possible. However, the chips still go stale quickly, so although there are no crumbs that seep through the seal, i think it’s not airtight
