We just bought the FoodSaver from Amazon and it saves so much room in the freezer. Friends have told us they have had food sealed in FoodSaver bags in the freezer for a year and have had no freezer burn, which saves money. These rolls are made of a thicker plastic and we're told are reusable if throughly washed and dried. We wouldn't buy another brand. These rolls of plastic are made specifically for the "Foodsaver" brand.

These work great and have lines for easy cutting for making bags especially if you know you need exactly 3 sections etc. Makes cutting them very convenient. Very strong and seem to be staying sealed with my foodsaver.

cat mother to 3 : I received these 8" wide heat seal rolls with my Foodsaver sealer.

I must admit that I prefer using the 11 inch rolls as opposed to the 8 inch ones and also the the bags. Maybe it's just that I'm new to this and haven't quite grasped a method other than the 11 inch rolls which is what I tried first. All the Foodsaver heat seal products work great. It's just my preferred choice.

Excellent bags.
Had some issues with some of the other brands loosing there seal after a short time but these always seem to seal very well and stay sealed.
Will buy again.

I make up 3 lbs of ground beef into patties and seal them in packs of 3. They freeze flat and when the packet thaws, there's no mess on the counter

A little expensive (I've tried almost every brand I could possible find) I find myself always coming back to these for more. I use this size of bag for everything - I think there is to much waste with the larger size roll. I now buy a few at a time and keep them on hand.

I seal & freeze a lot of salt water fish. I find it very difficult to get a good seal if the fish is not dry
