Joe K : Dead on Arrival

11/15/2020: Packaging came in with 2 heavy duty boxes. Upon opening the boxes, item had dust on the lid and a few dents here and there. Oil had also leaked but based on the videos I watched from Youtube, this was expected. I put in new vacuum oil, lifted up the lid and powered on. All seemed OK with me adjusting the time settings for vacuum, seal and de-pressurized, all from watching youtube for this DZ-260C. After adding oil and adjusting the time, I place my first fish to vacuum seal in my newly purchased vacuum bags and close the lid. NOTHING. I go on youtube again to see if I missed anything but everything I did is exact. The machine is suppose to automatically engage when closing the lid and this does nothing. Looks like I got a used dud. Refund requested. Very disappointed as I waited 7 days anxiously.

11/19/2020 **UPDATE **
After contacting the seller. They will send a replacement for a newer model. The seller is very helpful, we tried to troubleshoot as I need this urgently to work 1 wk before Thanksgiving. I have tons of food to process.
