Good value. Build quality and materials seem pretty good. I bought this to pair with an inexpensive South Bend saltwater rod and it is much nicer than the reel that combo came with. Seems like a good value for occasional use.

Do not buy! You get what you pay for. Don’t waste your money! After 4th use it broke. Got a fish on the line and it started slipping. Messaged seller and they said it’s probably worn out. Really? After the 4th use? Thanks guys! Just invest in a better quality reel!
