Answer: the weight ranges from 7.8 oz for the Rox 20 up to 13.2 oz for the Rox - 55

I need to replace my ul reel, would this be a good fit for an okuma celio 5' ul?

Answer: I have one on a 5’6” UL and find it’s a little large. It works, but is a little big to throw smaller trout/panfish sized baits. I use it with smaller stick baits and 8-10# test

Answer: i have an Okuma Ceymar c-10 which works great on a UL rod.

Answer: No. This reel was junk and the anti reverse arrived non working. Buy a Daiwa instead and never have to regret your purchase again.

What line can you use for the ROX 20?

Answer: The ROX-20 is working well using SpiderWire 20 pound test line. It is used with an Air Boss, a compressed air line launcher, to install wire antennas in tall evergreen trees. The smooth, never-jam action of the spinning reel is great when pulling a 1/4 inch dacron line through a 90 foot spruce!

Can this reel be used for saltwater fishing?

Answer: The Rox can be used in fresh and saltwater. We recommend rinsing the reel with fresh water after using it in saltwater to prolong the life of the reel.

Answer: Yes, it can be used for inshore fishing as long as you rinse the salt off the reel after saltwater use it should be no problem.

Not a bad reel. I bought the size 20 for trout and panfish, but it is definitely a fair bit larger than my size 20 Pfleuger’s and quantum micro lites. Can’t attest to durability as I have only taken it out a few times, but seems smooth enough for throwing crappie float/jig combos using 6# test, which has been the target species of this set up. Gave it 4 stars for the low bearing count, but for the price I can’t complain too much.

the reel arrived non functional. anti-reverse did not work at all brand new out of the package, upon disassembly realized that the whole part was missing, a Manufacturer defect. I won't buy from Okuma again with that level of quality control.

These are junk. Bought a couple because of the price, one at Dunhams and one on Amazon. Not very durable, plastic handle broke teeth off where it meets the body and the lock for the anti-reverse stopped working while I was pier fishing a couple weeks ago. Tried to fish with it anyways because I hadn't brought a backup and lost 2 steelhead due to it. You get what you pay for, I'll never buy an okuma product again. Very disappointed.
