What is the difference between these two sizes (5.3.1) (6.2.1)

Answer: They are different gear ratios. 6.2:1 is a faster reel than 5.3:1. The ratio is interperetted such that for every 1 turn of the handle on the 6.2:1 the bail will rotate 6.2 times. 5.3 times for the 5.3:1. A higher gear ratio means you can retrieve line fast all other things being equal (spool diameter, etc.) But because it's a larger ratio, there is less torque transfered through the reel.

Answer: Those are the gear ratios. the higher the number the faster you can take up line. Amazon is confusing on this aspect of their site for spinning reels. Your best bet is to contact the seller to be sure on the size (2500, 3500,4000) you are interested in.

Answer: not size's but gear ratios: one turn of the handle and the the reel turns 5.3 times or 6.2 times. the faster gear ratio (6.2) will pick up more line quicker. The 5.2 will pick up less line with the same turn of the handle. Depending on what technique being used sometimes the gear ratio will make a difference. I believe the slower speed ratio will have more torque. If using the reel to throw crank baits especially larger lip crank baits the lower speed may be better. Faster speed reels are the current trend picking up more fishing line per turn of the handle can be an advantage.

Answer: The 6.2 gear ratio will be a much faster retrieve. It also makes the inch per crank higher.

Tengo dos tamaños de este mismo carrete Daiwa fuego, el 2000 para light rock fishing PE# 0.6 y el 2500 para hard rock fishing o light spinning PE# 0.6 Y PE# 0.8 (2 bobinas), voy hacer unas aclaraciones para quien le pueda ser útil. Los modelos de Daiwa LT son más ligero y mas pequeños que los modelos anteriores, es decir por ejemplo un modelo talla 2500 anterior a 2017 tiene una medida de bobina de 48mm y los LT de 45mm, talla 2000 LT 42mm, aunque parezca poca diferenci, sí se nota la diferencia de tamaño, es decir que una talla 1000 anterior viene a ser como un 2000 LT y un 2500 anterior es como un 3000LT. Para mi es importante por el equilibrio con las caña que uso y por la distancia de lance por el diámetro de la bobina. Además tiene un freno estupendo con el sistema MAGSALE se nota finísimo. Tengo carretes Daiwa de otras gamas superiores y tallas superiores, pero para estas tallas creo que este modelo es suficiente.
