Can it seal liquids?

Answer: If you're planning on freezing after sealing, then freeze it first in a zipper bag, then take your solid marinade and vacuum seal it and toss it back in the freezer. If you're planning on storing it as liquid, you can run the vacuum manually and shut it off before too much liquid gets sucked in, but you may not get all the air out.

Can I you use any sealer bags with this food vacuum sealer machine - such as whether it can be purchased on Amazon?

Answer: I used a generic kind, found on amazon, and worked just fine. Make sure they have a textured side to them (unlike a ziplock type bag)

What is the widest bag you can use?

Answer: For a better buyer experience, our recommendation is no more than 11 inches.

Bought this and i cannot get it to work, need help need help!

Answer: You have to put the bag only half way in stop at the middle part then you have to press hard on the side closing mechanisum until you hear a snap on both sides then it works.

Will it work on fresh caught fish?

Answer: Yes. Please take care to remove those sharp fins first. Remember to drain some water which will make you seal better and use the vacuum machine according to the instructions correctly.

Tara : Doesn't work

The one I recieved does not work. The autofunction does not work and just goes on forever never sealing. Of course i didn't figure this out until after the return period had already expired.

Suction power is not bad easy to use. But the locking part doesn't work smoothly.

This machine seals very nicely. You have to lock the corners for it to work properly. Took me a minute to figure that out. I had seen little hand decals on the corners...thought just holding it down would do it. But, all in all, seals nicely and I do like the stop feature so some things won't get too tight.
