It's gross, but for my clothing vacuum bags that I use for travel, I get some spit on there. It doesn't wear out the plastic nearly as fast. A little water is probably fine too.

Answer: If the zipper opening of the bag does not work. Please contact our after-sales staff. They will replace you with new products for free
Answer: The bags have a one-way vent (looks like a little circle with a nipple) that the sealer goes over to vacuum out the air. You can actually hear the sealer "click" into place on the vent when it gets going. The vacuum releases when you unzip the bag. All you have to do is plop the sealer back onto the vent to suck the air out again.

Is the green light around the rim of the charger supposed to stay on when not in use?
Answer: No - make sure you push the top button down again if you see a light around the rim, otherwise you will run the batteries down.

Can you vacuum bags that have food + liquid marinades together?
Answer: Yes you can, but be aware that the vacuum is not designed to vacuum liquids. You would need to push the liquid as far away from the air in the bag and vacuum out the air. A little liquid doesn't hurt the vacuum but you need to be careful not to get very much.
Answer: You need to keep liquid from being sucked up into to vacuum unit. Tricky. I don’t vacuum really wet items. I do love it for the things I vacuum seal.

This has become one of the most used devices in the kitchen. With this you can vacuum seal cheese, cut onions & just about anything you use a little bit at a time. I particularly am impressed at how half an avocado stay perfectly green when sealed with this device. I still use a large vacuum sealer for thing going into the freezer, but this is great for refrigerator items. The bags are easy to wash & reuse.

I use the tip from another review to cover the hole with a piece of packing tape after vacuum to prevent water leaking in. Works great.

This is one purchase I should have made years ago! We buy fish in bulk at Costco and portion it out to freeze, so we didn’t necessarily need a larger machine you usually see for the small amount of meat we store. This was an ideal substitute! I also read somewhere they work on the larger sealing bags for textiles, making it great for travel, but I have not tried it yet (seems like it just might take a minute or two). For the relatively small price, it’ll save more in groceries!

Overall I am a very happy with this item. The vacuum sealer is really easy to use and it takes up very little space. I'm happy to have reusable bags. My only issue is that I don't find these bags very easy to close - as ziplock bags go, these can be a bit difficult.

I had Good Luck with, dry beans that were bought in bulk. White rice also brought in bulk. Both have remained airtight over the past few weeks. My favorite is, nice soft brown sugar.
As for fresh fruit and vegetables, not so good. They give off a gas and the bags do not remain air tight. Leafy greens are ruined right away. The moisture gets squished right out of them.
Oddly enough, my iceberg lettuce did last 2 weeks, didn't even turn brown on the edges. But I was careful, didn't squish it to tight.
Make sure that what you are vacuum sealing is dry.
YouTube has some things that I haven't tried yet. My avocados turned brown in the fridge after vacuum sealing. I haven't tried freezing them like the YouTube video. Anyway good luck.

It took me a few days with this food sealer; first, I used it( and it is effortless to use); it worked great, and it held it great, then I placed it in the freezer for a few days it held. It was held through the thawing processes and did not lose suction. However, there was one that did not keep it was because of user error. I have a food sealer it is clumsy, and you have to cut the bags to shape, and hard to use. with this, the bag come pre-shaped for the job you need, and they also have bags you can by so you can get rid of them store-bought freezer bags

Its amazing how fast this little thing can suction and the bag design is standard so I can buy the suction bags on amazon or bed bath beyond. My only complaint is that I have to put the vacuum directly on the circle or else it won't work. This one just became my new favorite friend in the kitchen. I think it will work great for my zucchini noodles, I am trying to freeze more meals that I can just pop into an instant pot when I am lazy. My friend has a lager (more expensive) food saver machine and it’s quite loud. However, MXBOLD vacuum sealer machine is very quiet at work, with only a small buzzing sound.
After she saw my food vacuum sealer, she want to get one as well. Because this sealer is so much smaller and it doesn’t take up any counter space.

Had a large vacuum sealer that I had to give away when we moved into a much smaller place. This small unit does do a great job. Took a few tries to get it going, but once you the hang of it, wow! You can hear and feel when the suction grabs onto the right hole in the bag. So far, everything I have vacuumed and put in the freezer has remained sealed. I use nuts for baking. So I can take what I need and then seal up the rest without a problem.

I enjoy these bags. It takes less time, compared to other brands, to take out the air. It also stays sealed and cleaning is not a problem. I don’t use them for cooking, so i can’t comment. I also put my food in a fold over sandwich bag before taking out the air so cleaning the bag is very easy.

i was skeptical at first due to how small the vacuum is. once i charged it up and tried it out, i was very impressed with how strong the vacuum is. it is very easy to use. its great that it is portable even though i will be keeping it in my kitchen. the vacuum comes with everything you need: bags, charging cable, a carrying pouch, and clips. for the price, this is an amazing set!

It was easy to use and worked well. Very fast delivery made my day. I’ve been sealing away. I haven’t tried anything with a lot of liquid yet so I can’t comment on that. I find this more convenient than dragging out my large sealer.

Didn't know what to expect but we love this small vacuum sealer...we use it every day. We've saved tons on fresh veggies using this easy to use sealer. I was worried that it might require more strength than these old painful hands have but was very pleased to find that it takes very little strength to use. The most challenging thing is making sure the bag is sealed properly. Love it!

I have a hard time getting this to take the air out. You have to get it just right on the bag to get it to work. Once you find the correct spot it doesn't take long. I live alone so when I buy a big pack of meat I divide it up in these bags and put in freezer. Then I just take out what I need.
