It has touch button, but easy to accidentally touch so tactile button is better. This is made of hard plastic but still feels durable. So many buttons and confusing to use. Vacuum is ok but heating element part is a little tricky and sometimes won’t seal the bag. But overall it is still worth it’s price.

So i bought this product so i can prepare food in advance and put them is this bag and vaccum it. I bought it on Wednsdays and was so busy. Now it's Saturday finally i had a chance to use it. My wife read the instrunction and figured it out. It works perfectly fine so far. Hopefully it will be a great helper when i am in charge.

This is a high wattage machine. Great vacuum power and sealing strip. If you do a fair amount of sealing it is well worth it. It is too lightweight, Chamber sealer is too expensive. This one is just right.

We have 2 full size upright freezers full of food, one for meat I buy in bulk from farmers and the other for raw pet food and anything else we buy on sale or in bulk. As a result, the food can sit around for a year or more before we eat it and it doesn't always keep well that long. (The freezers are both self-defrosting which is hard on food.) I buy raw pet food in 50 lb. boxes, which is packaged into 1 lb. chubs. Only one of our cats now eats it so it lasts a year. The chubs are not airtight and sometimes the bags they are packaged in have holes. So they can get rather dried out after several months even though we put them in zIploc bags. Also, my husband likes to buy giant turkeys at the holidays and package up leftovers to use for months. So I thought a vacuum sealer might be a good idea to help preserve food and keep it fresher for these long periods of storage.
I know you're supposed to vacuum seal bare food but I thought I'd give it a try on the pet food chubs, as well as the chubs of ground bison I get when I buy my yearly quarter of bison. It seems to seal those well, even though they already have a plastic covering on them (they come in a plastic bag which fits very tightly around the chub). I'll need to check on them in a few months and see how they're holding up, but the vacuum sealed package looks good to me. This vacuum sealer will also be great to use to package up turkey, so it will keep fresher until we use it. Currently we double bag it in ziploc bags but it still gets dried out compared to what it is like when it's freshly cooked.
This vacuum sealer was easier to use than I expected. I've never used one before so this is all new to me. You don't have to wait for it to warm up (like with a laminator that can take 5 minutes to get ready). You just put food in the bag, stick the edge of the bag in the sealer and press the auto button. It sucks out the air and seals the bag. Just make sure to keep your fingers towards the edge of the top when you press the top down, so you don't press on the buttons as you're closing it and activate the wrong option.
It comes with 5 individual bags plus a roll of bags and a cutter that clips onto the top of the machine. So you can just roll out the length of bag you want and easily cut it. And it comes with a hose that you can attach to a jar to vacuum seal it.
My only complaint with it would be that the manual is not very well written because the author clearly doesn't speak English as their first language. So some of the instructions are a bit confusing when you read them the first time, though you can figure out what they meant to say.

I was actually surprised by the product quality (I mean the price is def on the affordable side). I usually go to Costco to buy loads of conventional foods to save me trips, and this vacuum sealer saved my life.
