Answer: I'm thinking probably so, because I believe we just bought these generically, not to fit a particular brand.

Is the bottom piece supposed to have removable backing? Mine has a ridged yellow "backing", but I absolutely cannot get it separated from the strip!

Answer: i'm not sure what model your sealer is? but most sealers have removable adhesive, I will check with the Factory

Answer: Yes, it comes off but its very difficult to do. I take an exacto knife and a tweezer and carefully crape the yellow backing off until I can get enough off to grip it and pull it off.

Answer: Yes pick at it with your fingernail it will peel off to expose adhesive

Answer: In my experiance, they Acts as a riser cushion ...to raise up the heat sink wire (metal) from your machine, making better contact, better seals. You'll need it to get that wire to be taught and high enough for full contact as a replacement part. Hope this helps.

Answer: Not sure the exact nature of your question. These strips worked perfectly in our sealer.

Answer: All the same made for 2mm sealer you cannot use 5 mm with a 2mm sealer the transformer is not big enough..... Sealersupply Co

I need just the elements for 12'' sealer. mine has a teflon roll attached, don't need to replace that. I need total length eyelet to eyelet is 141/4''

Not much else to say there, these things wear out all the time so I keep several in stock for when that happens. Seems just as good as the others but haven't been using it long enough to give a longevity testimony.

JUNK! The top teflon is too narrow and slips out of the metal plate constantly. And, the PTFE tape is PAPER thin causing the element wire to burn through the teflon and ruin it in a matter of days. These used to last months when I bought directly from the secure packing place I purchased the sealer from. DO NOT BUY THESE.

Scott Cramer : All in all works great. Might be a tight fit in your sealer, but I got it going no problem.

Works great and did what I needed it to do - made my sealer work again. Took off a star because it says it's compatible with my model - which it was - but I found it to be a little shorter than the original sealer wire so it was a tight fit/install.
