Will this fit masterbuilt pro 20070612 model?

Answer: I'm not sure. I had to modify my smoker to accommodate this heat element. I used a jig saw to enlarge the opening for the element. I was trying to increase the temperature for my smoker and unfortunately that didn't work. It works OK, just not any hotter than my original even though it said it had a higher heat range. Answer: Please DO NOT but this from Wadeo, their customer service is disgraceful to say the least. And that’s if it even works, I went through a week of emails every day to find out that if the temp gets to 154 they consider it good. I don’t know about you but I don’t smoke at 154!

Doesn’t get to temp or stay at temp. Customer service was horrible!!! They said as long as it gets to 154 we consider it good.

I went thru 3 attempts to find a replacement before this one. This actually replace mine.

Mr Graham : Doesn’t work. 150F max temperature.

Don’t waste your money. If your smoker goes out just throw it away and buy a new one I guess. I’ve tried two of these replacements and neither one of them will get above 150F. I’ve messed up two different meals now. What a waste of money, effort, and time.

Master built controllers are junk. I got maybe 2 or 3 uses before they go out. This was my second one. I had to get a third one since this one. I bought a different brand that would fit. I would not recommend this brand. Just spend the extra money and get a better brand smoker. Mine was a present and I plan on replaceing the whole thing here soon with a better one.

After a few months of "slow/hours to burn pellets" I chalked this up to inexperience. Luckily one day the electric smoker went full "not burn at all" after doing some YouTube research I came to the conclusion that it was the heating element itself.

After determining the correct size the order shipped super fast. The install itself was easy enough, you just have to set aside 30 mins. I'm almost certain this heating element is sturdier than the stock one I was using.

Update: Just go to masterbuilt’s website and the coil by itself is $10.99. Do not buy these knock offs.

So it’s a mixed bag here. The element design is great and has better smoke capabilities than the stock coil. But the controller it comes with is terrible. Won’t go above 290 degrees for me. I put this coil on the factory coil and it goes up to 400 degrees. If they sold the coil alone for half the cost I’d buy it. Otherwise, I’ll keep looking for coils only next time and keep the factory controller.

Pops was mad as hell when his smoker went on the fritz. He’s back at it now though. Everything works great. I would’ve given 5 stars for every category but instillation was a bit of a trick. He had to buy some better screws and drill a few more holes or bigger holes or something, but other than that, he seems happy. Great product.

I purchased this to replace my Masterbuilt heating element and analog temperature controller. Fits perfectly, however the element does not heat evenly. It will not heat my wood chip box. I ran at full power for two hours and no smoke, burn of my chips. Highest temp it got to was 240° with my ambient temp probe. It appears element heats close to the base side, but wasn't heating on for side where I need it to. Ugh. Disappointed in this one. May just order replacement thru Masterbuilt next time. I have not attempted contact with seller yet for a possible replacement. I will update my review if they do. Could be just a bad element from manufacturing.

It works great so far. Draws a little more amps or watts (one of them. LOL) than my original one and so it gets my cabinet a little hotter. I like it and it was a perfect match for my old one and fits in cabinet great.

Don. : Affordable way to repair my smoker

This was a perfect fit for my Masterbuilt smoker.
I had priced out replacement parts from the manufacturer and decided that it wasn't worth fixing. Shipping, import duties and exchange made it close to the price of a new smoker.

This unit is shaped so that it puts more of the element under the chip tray than the original. It seems to be capable of making smoke at lower Temps than the original.
Once its warmed up the thermostat seems to be able to maintain about +/- 5°f over a 4 hour cook.

The product works despite being damaged during shipment. There was no padding in the box and the element ends had protruded through the box and one was bent and had to be carefully straightened. The box was also crushed and one end was broken open. Installation was simple and element heats quickly.

This element fits perfectly in my Masterbuilt smoker but the controller will not heat properly. The hottest I can get the smoker is 265 degrees. I can use it because most of my smoking is done at 250 degrees. I would like WADEO send me another thermostat cord to replace the one they sent.
