Answer: Not 100% certain what question you are asking. For the purpose of vacuum sealing it is best to start with meat that is fresh and thawed so that all of the air can be extracted in the sealing process. If the item is already frozen the vacuum sealer should still work but any air trapped in the frozen meat would still remain.

After using a Food Saver vacuum sealer for years and loving it, I decided to 'upgrade' to this one. Wish I didn't. The suction is so strong that it sucks up moisture in almost all foods and then doesn't seal completely. Or it switches to 'moist food' setting and then 'loose' seal. I've had a little more luck doing everything manually, but that's a pain in the neck. Wish that I had used this machine more in the first 30 days so that I could return it to Amazon, but I kept thinking that it was my error and I'd figure out what I was doing wrong. It wasn't, and I've lost food in the freezer from unsealed bags because of it.

It is easy to operate - had no problem figuring out how to do this. The only criticism I could make is that it indicated that it was quite. While it is not unduly loud it is far from quite. Really glad we purchased this model.

Had problems with seal function. Determined the detachable plug wasn’t fully inserted. Once corrected, seal function worked fine for awhile. In a mode where sealing continuous bags, it became apparent the seal bar was over heating and seals were hard, some leaking. Resorted to doing a “6” count and cancelling the seal step in progress to avert seal damage. Less stars for inability to adjust heat function. The installed bag cutter is dull. Unit is ok, but certainly not “commercial “. Will update after more use.

Best vacuum sealer I've ever used! Very easy to use and works fantastic! We processed 5 deer this year including burger and sausage using it! It never overheated and I didn't have a problem with excess moisture leakage as I have with other sealers.

I just tested the unit that arrived the other day. It is a replacement for an older unit that I purchased from another vendor that is on its last legs. This unit does NOT need to rest 20 seconds or so between uses, which is excellent. Also it provides three grades of suctions, the greatest of which appears to be stronger than that provided by my older unit. The unit comes with an excellent instruction manual that is clear and informative and that was obviously written by someone who has command of the English language. My only criticism of the unit is that because the sealing edge is fairly high relative to the counter, I found it necessary to support the bag of food on a book so that the bag of food was roughly at the same height as the sealing edge of the machine. Also, the bags that are supplied with the unit are not nearly as good as the roll of bags one can purchase separately from Out-of-Air or other similar vendors.
The unit has other capabilities that I have not yet tested but that appear very useful: e.g., the ability to vacuum out bags or containers with sealing valves, etc.

Was not user friendly. Takes 2 to operate. Must open entire top and re-string bag after cutting. The sealer strip will get too hot sealing on moist and burn the top of the bag off. Would not recommend.
