Answer: Not 100% certain what question you are asking. For the purpose of vacuum sealing it is best to start with meat that is fresh and thawed so that all of the air can be extracted in the sealing process. If the item is already frozen the vacuum sealer should still work but any air trapped in the frozen meat would still remain.

I absolutely love this food saver. It is a professional unit and boy can you tell. I bought it to freeze and seal product that I’m selling. It’s everything I thought and more!!!

Had problems with seal function. Determined the detachable plug wasn’t fully inserted. Once corrected, seal function worked fine for awhile. In a mode where sealing continuous bags, it became apparent the seal bar was over heating and seals were hard, some leaking. Resorted to doing a “6” count and cancelling the seal step in progress to avert seal damage. Less stars for inability to adjust heat function. The installed bag cutter is dull. Unit is ok, but certainly not “commercial “. Will update after more use.

Very nice vacuum sealing unit. I like that it can handle a large roll of bags and the cutter cuts in bo directions. Very powerful vac motor and a good wide seal. The unit is great but the instructions need a little work.
