How long does it last before it starts to rust? It is only 304 stainless steel.

Answer: Dear customer, 304 stainless steel is a food grade material. It can last long forever without going rust even when exposed to humid environment, as long as it is cleaned properly after each use. You may find the item doesn't stay as silver any more, that's not because of the rust but is a result of smoking, it won’t lead to rust.

Answer: It should never rust. Stainless will corrode, but only when exposed to harsh chemicals. I doubt you have those in your barbecue.

is this adaptable to a wind experiment for children that shows wind traveling from cold to hot air?

Answer: It will give you plenty of smoke, but the canister will be hot, the pellets will be burning

Answer: I'm afraid it doesn't suit your experiment purpose.

How to light pellets? It's so hard to light up

Answer: Use torch for about 30 seconds until pellets light up, also depend on the quality of the pellets you use

Answer: Small enough ones yes I find the pellets work best for amount of smoke

If I have a pellet grill, what do I need the smoker tube for?

Answer: I have a traeger smoker, it does make great food but smoker tube add more smoke and flavor to your meat, also you can cold smoke cheese, meat...don't need to turning on the pellet smoker

can you put this in a smoker fire box with burning wood

Answer: I’m sure you could, but it probably would ruin the smoker tube. It’s meant to go on top of the grates. To hot in a wood fire.

Answer: Probably could be the point in this is that it is very low heat smoking having a wood burning would defeat this.

Answer: It goes on the grill itself next to whatever you are smoking. It just gives out extra smoke.

Does his smoke tube have caps for both ends?

Answer: Thanks for your interest in our products. One side is with cap and the other side is not.

Answer: No only 1 end it lays flat so pellets would full out.
