Questions about Traeger Grills Pro Series 34 Electric Wood Pellet Grill and Smoker, Bronze
Q:
Can I use this indoors?
Answer: Only if you have the Fire Dept. or Forestry Dept. on standby to get the smoke out of your dwelling.
Answer: You can cut some skylights in your ceiling and run some ductwork up to them off of your smoke stack and you could run it like that. No sarcasm intended. Lol
Answer: You and your family and all your friends and pets would die from carbon monoxide poisoning. With that being said, sure it's possible.
Answer: No outdoors only unless you are trying to commit suicide
Answer: I would not recommend it because it is a smoker unless you like living in a cloud of delicious haze.
Answer: Tf kinda question is this lol
Q:
Can it be used without the wood pellets?
Answer: They don't need to be Traeger pellets but, yes, you need the pellets. They work like wood in a fireplace -- they create the heat by moving down an auger that transports the pellets from a firebox to a heating coil. The speed of the auger determines the temperature. The faster it moves the faster the pellets get to the fire and the higher the temperature is. I love this smoker -- not just for slow smoking, but for the best barbecued chicken I've ever made.
Answer: No, it is a pellet grill & smoker. You don't have to use only Traeger pellets Costco has there own brand a lot cheaper.
Answer: No, the pellets are the heat source
Q:
Does this come with a warranty?
Answer: I’m not sure, but I wish we would have bought from Ace Hardware. If you buy from them you get 10-20% of all chips, runs, spices etc.
Answer: 3years from the date of purchased
Q:
What is the size of the grilling grates? I need to know the dimensions of the large and small grate.
Answer: Main Rack: 34" L x 19" D
Answer: Not to be rude, but they give you the dimensions on the product page....
Q:
how many amps does it pull?
Answer: 4 amps at the beginning and then drops to 1.5 amps for the rest of the cook.
Answer: About 5 when during startup then About 2
Q:
What front shelf fit a tfb88pzb Traeger grill
Answer:
Answer:
Q:
Any order or deliver issues? Traeger site is not working and gave us so many issues with billing and delivery.
Answer: I bought mine on Amazon, and paid $100 to have a guy come to the house and assemble it. It couldn't have been simpler. I will say: you're going to need a dolly/hand truck, as the box it comes on is massive, bulky, and about 120lbs!. I just wheeled mine around to the backyard, where the guy assembled it for me! It works great. Might consider a smoker tube though. As I found the Traeger smoke a little more subtle than a lump coal smoker. Use the smoker tube for about the first hour of the smoke, and it does awesome!
Q:
Can you control the amount of smoke at any given temperature setting?
Answer: No, the Pro 34 will deliver a consistent smoking experience across a given temperature range. The Ironwood series, Timberline series, and Silverton 820 can deliver more smoke between 165 and 225 degrees Fahrenheit with their Super Smoke feature.
Q:
Can I get this product assembled?
Answer: yes-- if u pay for assembly.
Answer: Instructions were easy to follow, you can do it, then grill it. Everything I've cooked has turned out wonderful. You gotta get one
Answer: Yes, but there may be a slight charge. It was shipped without the legs attached.
Q:
What drip tray liner do I use with this grill
Answer: You will want to use the Pro 34 Drip Tray Liners BAC410 for this grill.
Answer: Do you mean bucket or inner tray .The inner drip tray I put alluinum paper ,the drip bucket has traeger bucket liner.
Q:
Does this come with the grease bucket as pictured?
Answer: Yes it does. I did order the replaceable aluminum liners for fast cleaning.
Answer: Yes
Q:
Can you use this as a regular grill too?
Answer: You can’t use charcoal on this grill if that’s the question. But you can grill anything on it.
Answer: I use it to grill burgers and hot dogs all the time.
Answer: I've had mine up tp about 400° with the blanket on it. I have a Webber for everyday stuff.
Q:
Does it run on propane
Answer: No it takes pellets and Is electric.
Q:
When was yours manufactured, if purchased through amazon? saw the same model at home depot with a 2003 date on it!
Answer: I paid Amazon like $100 to have a guy come to my house and put it together! Well worth it! I did buy if on Amazon, as it was pro series, and way cheaper than they were previously priced. I got mine last November, 2019.
Q:
does this model have the new D2 drive train?
Answer: Not sure.
Q:
what are the temperature steps ?
Answer: The temperature steps in Fahrenheit begin at Smoke which is approximately 180 deg, 180, 225, and then 25 degree increments up to High. High is over 415 degrees and is used for grilling.
Answer: The temperature options are Smoke, 180, 225, 250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375, and High.
Q:
Can you sear a steak on this grill??
Answer: Yes you can...turn it to the high setting and it’s ready to sear in a few minutes....also you can reverse-sear which tastes even better....its all explained in the Traeger manual...
Answer: Yes but we get it to done..
Q:
Is this grill also a smoker?
Answer: It is an indirect smoker . But can grill on it .
Answer: It's a great smoker.
Answer: no, very little smoke
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes
Q:
How is this for grilling steaks, especially ribeyes?
Answer: I NEVER grill small pieces of meat on the Traeger. Respectfully, the smoker is for "low and slow" smoking. Caveat: I will low and slow smoke a 3" thick ribeye. You ever do a cowboy cut, Tomahawk ribeye? That isht needs low and slow, and just barely finished on the grill - just to get a char on the outside. I hope this helps. If you're into ribs, pork butts, 3" thick pork steaks, smoked turkey, etc. - stuff to cook low and slow for hours, and enjoy the deliciosness - then this is for you. Otherwise, best move on.
Answer: They came out fantastic. I did several kinds of steaks and even did brisket. I do not know your preference for flavored pellets. I do recommend you get the grilling cookbook from Traeger. It was a big help in kind of flavor, time to grill and preparation. I will say I am never going back to Gas. Tired of going to the store. A bag will last me about much longer. Good luck.
Answer: We use the Treager for pork, turkey, and ribs. It’s great for this application; however, the grille is better for steaks.
Answer: Fantastic. I was concerned it would only really be good for smoking meats. It grills meat of all kinds better than any gas or charcoal grill that we have ever used.
Answer: I don't know about grilling with this smoker, I only use mine for smoking. But a rib roast is another story, works great for the whole roast plus you get leftovers.
Answer: It will cook anything you want Steaks of any kind are delicious
Q:
Where are Traeger grills made
Answer: China.
Q:
I have 2 questions- does the grill require any type of electricity? Do the grilling areas require seasoning and if so, do you need to season each tim
Answer: Yes, the grill requires a 110v plug. Seasoning is done once when first fired up. The assembly manual has instructions on how to do this. I don't believe it needs any additional seasoning.
Q:
Does it work okay in a rainy climate like Seattle?
Answer: The day I got mine, it stormed out the day and I still grilled great ribs from the garage with plenty of ventilation. Garage kept is how I am keeping mine to avoid moist pellet issues.
Q:
What is the return policy for this item? I’m purchasing as a gift.
Answer: 30 days
Q:
How long do the grates last until you have to replace them cause they have started to rust?
Answer: I've had mine for almost 4 years and no signs of rust at all. I do keep it covered when it rains. We use it often and just like a cast iron skillet, the grill grates are "seasoned" to protect them.
Answer: The grates are porcelain-coated so they are easy to clean and will not rust.
Answer: Mine are original and 6 or 7 years old. No rust at all.
Q:
The title indicates that this is the pro series, but a previous answer says that it's not a pro. If I purchase this, is it a pro?
Answer: It’s a pro. Best grill ever! Every single meal is amazing. Unplanned bonus...I got my hubby back. He’s now lounging in the pool instead of tied to the grill. Worth every penny.
Q:
How often does this gets 'conveniently' lost by the shipping company during shipping? UPS is reluctant to deliver this.
Answer: I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and had no trouble with delivery.
Q:
How many Bostin Butts can be smoked at a time on this?
Answer: I've done 4, 9lb pork butts at a time, but that is NOT the max. I had room left on the grill... Conservative estimate? I'd say at least 6. Hope that helps.
Answer: I believe mine would hold at least 6 to 8 pork shoulders or pork butts. 8 would be a squeeze.
Answer: I would say 6
Q:
Does it really take 1-2 months to ship ???
Answer: Not from where I bought mine
Q:
Wondering if anyone has issues with their Pro 34 holding tempature and fires goig our during the cook?
Answer: Most likely it needs cleaning out. Take a ship vac clean the ashes and other stuff. They recommend doing this every 2 bags of pellets.
Answer: Check with technical support. They are excellent at figuring out the problem.
Answer: No we haven’t
Q:
Is it possible to get a good char on the meat?
Answer: Yes
Q:
Can you smoke meat on the Extra rack? If so, do you have to rotate it to the main rack mid-smoke?
Answer: No, smokes good on either rack
Answer: Yes and no you do have to rotate it since you want your meats to have a consistent color on all 4 sides
Answer: We haven't tried to smoke anything yet. Sorry, I don't know.
Q:
Is it big enough to hold a turkey?
Answer: It could hold two turkeys (around 18-20 lbs each).
Answer: Yes can only do 16lbs turkey traggers recipe says up to 16#
Q:
What’s the high temp?
Answer: I have not had it that high but you can set it from 225 all the way up to 375 in increments of 25. I assume the high would be 400. I have never had it over 325
Answer: 350 and above whichever the highest temp it will go maybe 450?
Answer: I've had mine up to 375, but the grate and drip pan need to be clean to do that. I found that running it at 375-pushing to 400 will get old grease build-ups smoking heavily, and that's not the smoke I want, so I tend to max out at 325-350.
Answer: 450
Q:
does it have a pellet dump ?
Answer: Yes. A little trap door on the back side of the hopper.
Answer: Yes. Very easy to use!
Answer: Yes on the back side of the box
Q:
Which overseas country are they made?
Answer: China now, used to be U.S.
Q:
For an 8 hour smoke of pork shoulder, how many pounds of wood pellets be required? Estimated.
Answer: I've done numerous pork butts / shoulder. A 9lb pork butt/shoulder is, as you said, about an 8 hour cook. The bags of pellets weigh about 20 pounds, when new. I get them for $18.99 at True Value Hardware. I fill the pellet box almost completely full before I start. About 4 - 5 hours in, I dump in a little more, to make sure the fire box doesn't run out of fuel. I'd say I use about 1/3 of the bag for an eight hour cook (so, roughly 6.5lbs of pellets). They say it's similar in cost to using a propane grill, but then I've never done an 8 hour cook with propane!
Answer: Roughly about 10 pounds in total, which the hopper can handle.
Answer: Probably half a bag (+/- 10 lb)
Answer: 5-7 lbs
Q:
Does it come with a cover?
Answer: No it does not come with a cover. I had to buy one separately.
Answer: No, it does not.
Q:
Do pellet grills really make a good investment when they keep breaking down?
Answer: I have not had any of my Traeger Pellet girlls break down. The last very good.
Answer: I've owned mine for 2 years and have many cooking hours without issues.
Answer: Yes but check at Costco frist you will love the food
Q:
I want to cook everything but on occasion like to grill up some hot dogs and burgers. Does this work for that?
Answer: Yes it works for hot dogs; however, if you wish to have an open flame flavor you will need to have a backup gas grille.
Answer: No matter which grill you select, Traeger's 6-in-1 ability means you can grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise & BBQ with pure, hardwood flavor! This grill makes it easy to cook like a pro! Just flip on the switch, add pellets, and set your temp.
Answer: Yes, you just turn the heat up.
Q:
What are the dimensions of the front of the hopper?
Answer: Pro 34's front hopper measurements are approximately,
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: It holds about 18-20 lbs of pellets so it's about 10 inches by 10 inches by 14 inches
Q:
Is this the gen i model that traeger sells for $649?
Answer: Yes
Q:
did my traeger pro elite 34 come with a cookbook?
Answer: If u have to ask that question, we can assume it did not.
Answer: I'm not sure if yours did, but mine did.
Answer: Yes
Q:
What accessories does this come with? Cookbook, pellets?
Answer: It does come with a cookbook and also two temperature probes. Other misc paperwork that shows the options of pellets you can buy. I don't recall getting any with the Grill
Answer: none not from this vendor
Answer: NONE
Q:
What are the measurements of the grill?
Answer: Product Measurement LxWxH 27 x 53 x 49 inches.
Answer: Grill Size (HxWxD) 49x53x27 in
Q:
What is the lowest Temperature the Smoker will operate at
Answer: I've never tried to operate it at the lowest possible temperature over a prolonged period, but I'm pretty sure it will hold about 150 degrees pretty well.
Answer: 180. But it will vary 10 degrees either way
Answer: I’ve used it on days when it was 36 degrees outside but you should use the insulated blanket b/c the cook time will be longer.
Answer: There is a smoke setting to start the grill then the first setable temp is 180
Q:
How quickly should the auger spin?
Answer: It should slowly feed just enough pellets to burn/smoke.
Answer: Ours starts as soon as you turn it on to get the fire going
Q:
Is this grill WiFi enabled?
Answer: I bought mine 3 years ago. At the time it was not WiFi enabled. Maybe that has changed. It should say on the specs.
Answer: No but do offer wifi in other models

Answer: No.

Does the Pro 34 have a pellet cleanout door?
Answer: Yes.

Product reviews of Traeger Grills Pro Series 34 Electric Wood Pellet Grill and Smoker, Bronze
Kelly O. : It will change how you grill
The option to smoke before actually cooking has changed how and what I make on a grill. It adds flavor and takes the guesswork out of the grilling process. I love the two thermometers, the amount of cooking space, and how you can slow your roll or speed up the process. I love it, and you will too!
Irina : Very good brand
The best investment ever. We are enjoying delicious and easily cooked meals.
Thai GaiGan : Large size low tech. Great combo!!
Excellent... Decided to go with the least amount of tech, biggest load and pellet box. Last night made a 18hr brisket. Put it on at 11:30 at night. 4 am ran out of pallets, would of been notified by wifi if I had model that's a grand more. Wind kicked in the early morning so I had to adjust beat more often... Which would of been easier with WiFi... SO, I will keep this for the larger smokes, full racks of ribs, full brisket... Long pork roast etc... In time I may get a smaller model with wifi. This way I can do one steak, one whole chicken.. Etc... So I love it, everything I assumed it was and more... This fits our purpose. Make sure it fits yours! ✌️✌️????????????????????????????
HT : First time Brisket on Traeger Wins Top Chef Title (at home)
This smoker will give you an advantage of a lifetime, allowing endless flavor possibilities with maximum quality. Easy set up, great quality parts, efficient heat control, and top notch brand name guides and recipes.
Family Music : Needs a 30 pack!
I don't know a thing sbout smoking , this made me into a pro.... ha but fr tho food was amazing I followed a the recipe an all that ????
Rose : Arrived damaged - twice!
This item arrived the first time damaged with clear damage to the box and dented in such a way that a leg could not be installed. We called and replaced it only to receive the second one damaged, as shown in the pics. At this time we can only return it - limited number of replacements per order. But the cost of this smoker is now more than double what we paid originally. Currently scheduled to have the item picked up and returned - I hope that goes better than the rest of this purchase.
Crystal : Great product
My husband loves it and we’ve used it for weeks now
Dr. Steve : Great Smoker-Grill. Yum, Yum, Yum!
We’ve had the grill only a few weeks, but we’ve cooked delicious ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, ribs again, and a whole chicken. We love this grill, and all the meals have been delicious. We love experimenting with different rubs. We bought this one instead of the next generation model that was several hundred dollars more. The Wi-Fi might have been fun, but I chose the larger grill instead that was within my price range. Very happy with the whole experience so far. Thank you, Traeger.
Bmfharding : Go for bigger
Definitely go for the larger size, it’s worth the extra $
Mathew Duran : Don't buy Taeger PRO34. Its an old model, new models have been improved over time.
auger shear pin was not properly installed and dropped and disconnected from the motor. Bought old model for a new price. Ended up with an upgrade, stronger auger design PRO780. Built better with upgrades such as variable speed fan, thicker fire box. Improved auger system with a WIFI. Was planning to upgrade the PRO34 TO WIFI, sure glad it broke and returned it to AMAZON. BOUGHT my PRO780 from a reputable dealer who had more spec info then what was supplied by Amazon.
Dan S : This is the best smoker.
This is not the fancy new model with WiFi, but works great. The digital display shows the temperature inside and the temperature in the center of the meat. Temp stays within 5 degrees of desired setting.
P.K. : Worry free
Love this smoker, it makes smoking meat task free for me.
Carol : We found the “missing” leg!
We found the leg and caster! We thought it was missing because it was not with the other legs. The “missing” leg was under the grill packaging.
Chris : Temp swings.
I am still figuring some things out but have had it about a month and a half now. The only complaint I have is the temperature swings. I might be watching it too closely but feel like the temp swings 30 to 40 degrees for a few minutes when it drops new pellets in.
Marty Kukol : Can’t get any better!
Excellent smoker, use it almost every day.
Karen L. Walker : No flair ups
Absolutely love it, everything we have cooked has been perfect
Sandi Brown : DO NOT BUY!!!
Totally disappointed. Our pit boss works better. In less than a month board has gone out twice. Two full racks of ribs on it and it stopped working. Thankfully we kept our pit boss to grill on so we fired it up and put the ribs on it. Worse purchase I’ve ever made. Sad cause it was a gift for husband. Always heard Treager’s are the best. Hoping to get a refund so we can go buy a new Pit Boss. Only reason it got a star is cause I had to to do the review.
Wicked Man : Great Grill - if you get it at the right price
bought the Traeger Bronze Pro Series 34 Wood Pellet Grill last 4th of July. It was on sale at Abt for $750. I thought it was one heck of a deal at that price!
Since buying the grill, I've smoked just about everything I could: Ribs, pork butt, ribs, brisket, fish, ribs, burgers and more ribs. I've even threatened to smoke the dog food, but she's getting enough scraps as it is.
A Friend of mine has the Yoder 640 - and that is a much nicer, better constructed smoker - for $2k it should be. But at the end of the day, when we sit down to eat, NO ONE can tell what was cooked on which.
Pros: With the Treager 34 I like the size of the grill area - holds a ton of meat. I've done 6 slabs of ribs without space issues. And while having two temperature probes is nice, I've only used two probes at the same-time once. I normally need only one probe. But still its a plus. I like the digital read out for the grill temp and the probe. The temps inside the grill have been pretty good - some fluctuation but for the most part it holds a good consistent temperature - seeing that I'm usually setting it at 225 and leaving it for hours (although I have made a couple of modification which I mention below).
Cons: The main issues are two: One, the control unit uses a dial with ten settings - which is fine, but a digital control setting would be better. After all, it has a digital readout for temp and probe. .
And two: Top temp setting is only 375, then it goes to "High" and it's hard to get a sear on burgers or steak.
So I wouldn't call this a competition model, but rather a good starter model.
My Modifications: +The extra front self for $60 is almost a must. I just need the room to set things down. +Full length cover $40. Need for the weather and storage. +Nomex Gasket, self stick gasket tape - $20 bucks on Amazon. I lined the door with it and it keeps the smoke and heat inside. Works great! +An old horse blanket and a big old cloth drop cloth to cover and insulate the grill. This didn't cost a penny, just a couple of old blankets and a bungee cord or two. I wrap and cover the grill - holds the temp more consistently and uses way less pellets. +Twelve foot long, 4"x 6" Extra Wide Commercial Downspout with a round to square adapter - (and a little tin foil wrapped around the Treager chimney to connect it to the downspout adapter) I can extend the smoke chimney up and out of the way. This is very important, otherwise my wife complains about the smoke when we are sitting outside! But with the twelve foot extension, leaning against the house, it gets the smoke up, up and out of the way. Happy wife, happy smoking hubby! Plus I had it just sitting around so it didn't cost me anything.
With all that - I am very happy with the Treager 34 pro. Now we will see how good it works as "winter is coming" and I live north of the wall!
Autumn Wagner : Arrived damaged
After eager anticipation of the arrival of our smoker, it arrived significantly damaged. I now have to wait another week for a new one, hopefully one that isn’t damaged. I’ve waited several years to make this purchase, so I am quite disappointed. Will review again once I receive one that is in good condition.
J. Kirkland : Good grill for smoking.
Overall I like this grill. It is easy to use, easy to clean, controls make sense. I have tried a couple of times to get the temperature to 450 degrees F but highest temperature so far is 350 degrees F. But, it is in winter. Low and slow smoking works great. Boston butts and chicken have been fantastic. Steaks and pork chops I have had to finish in a smoking hot cast iron skillet to get the good char on the surface. I hope to get higher temperatures as we move toward summer.
Daniel Patrick Mansour III : Traeger Grills TFB88PZBO Pro Series 34 Pellet Grill and Smoker, 884 Sq. In.
I received the Traeger today and assembled it in 45mins it calls for 2 people to assemble but I was able to do it myself the directions are easy to follow and the directions tell you to start with a six pack of beer i was only able to drink one beer cause it was so easy to assemble by far the best pellet grill I have ever bought I just wish I would have just bought a Traeger sooner and not have wasted money on other grills and smokers I promise you won't be disappointed
Karen L. Walker : No flair ups
Absolutely love it, everything we have cooked has been perfect

Carol : We found the “missing” leg!
We found the leg and caster! We thought it was missing because it was not with the other legs. The “missing” leg was under the grill packaging.
Bohemian : Best smoker
Great smoker. Well built. Set it and forget it.
Husband, Dad, and Nerd : Impressive "BBQ" NOT a "grill"
Pros: Size (so many pork butts) Ease of use (flip switch, that's it) Smoking performance (low and stable) Temperature accuracy (see picture)
Cons: Doesn't "grill" very well (but I have a gas grill for that)
Long form: Quick background I've owned a different brand pellet grill for 8 years, I'm very familiar with how they work. #1 recommendation to every new user, DON'T use Traeger pellets, they are GARBAGE. Lumberjack if you can (supreme mix is great), Bear mountain is good, so are CookingPellets Perfect mix. You need a pellet with both a decent amount of a mild heat wood like oak, and 30%+ actual flavor wood. Traeger pellets are "flavored" alder, all around mediocre. 100% oak works well and provides heat well. For flavor go with a blend like a hickory (bacony), or apple (sweet), or mesquite for that Texas twang. Supreme mix and perfect mix are great all-around.
I bought this for smoking, period. The barrel design, indirect heat, plus very low temperature stability (holds 150 or 180 great) is fantastic for smoking meat low and slow. This was an area my last grill was mediocre. My past efforts and my many future plans for this thing, none involve temps over 250.
On the flip side this is NOT for high heat cooking. I can get it up to over 400 (see picture, note that was with good pellets), but my old pellet grill would do 550 with direct heat, and my gas grill almost 700. Not using this for steaks or burgers, so it doesn't bother me, but I hopefully save some people a headache.
Barefooter : Never going back to charcoal
Tired of propane and charcoal- Fast warm up and easy to use- should have included a shelf for the price. Blower is a bit loud - smokes and cooks evenly. Can cook 8 whole chickens at one time with no flare ups!
Brian Crist : Beyond any reasonable expectation!
Just buy it.!cook some wings steak or…. ANYTHING and you will know what you have been missing.
Mrs Lizanich : This is a superb grill made it quality parts. It's built to last.
This grill is great. I love it. It's everything it's supposed to be. Everything I've put on it so far has come out exactly as intended.
Dave Henderson : Defective out of the Box
This Amazon purchase was bundled with free assembly. Delivery and assembly were good. First use of the grill, it achieved desired temperature (275). At that point, fan and pellet auger stopped functioning. The unit cooled to140 degrees without attempting to maintain desired temp. Went through the correct shutdown process and allowed grill to fully cool. Next try, same result. The next morning, I thought I'd give it another go. This time the unit would not even power on with the on/off switch.
Because the unit was bundled with assembly, customer service would not supply a replacement. Supposedly because assembly is no longer available in our area (Cleveland, OH) and the grill was part of the "package". Refund to my credit card was the only option once they get the returned grill back. They offered to provide pickup but had do a "manual" pickup (whatever that is). Amazon sent me a form I had to fill out and forward to the trucking service. I was told it will take 8-10 weeks before the trucking service will contact me for pickup. All that time I'm sitting with 140# of useless hardware on my deck and $699.00 sitting on my credit card.
Very disappointed in the product and return follow-up.
Jesse Farkas : Doesn't heat to the correct temperature
The temperature outside is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and this cannot attain the max 450F temp even after letting it warm up for a half hour. It'll read as 430ish on the unit itself, and the actual temperature inside will be around 400-410F. So, as long as you don't care about what temperature you're smoking, or using a 3rd party probe it's ok.
Tldr; the temperature control is completely unreliable
Domenica Koch : Temperature control is not good.
This grill has been a disappointment. It’s suppose to get up to 450 degrees, but it barely gets up to 300. Not sure if it’s a bad heating element, but not happy with the product after spending so much money on it.
B : Very good grill
Very easy to assemble. This is well worth it. I am going to be doing some real cooking now.
Tom W. : Thumbs ????
Good smoker, no issues so far.
tammy cole : Arrived Damaged
I read reviews that others received damaged goods from this seller by we took a chance. Totally dented on the side. Delivered in a box with wet corners. Had high hopes. Now have a dented 700 dollar grill.
JJ-VI : Perfect!
Worth the price and the description matches!
BOUGHT my PRO780 from a reputable dealer who had more spec info then what was supplied by Amazon.
michael b bennett : Very easy to use
First pellet grill. This grill was very easy to put together. I have used it to cook hamburgers and steaks so far. My wife prefers the hamburgers on the propane grill, but I found the to be very good on the pellet grill. They were not super juicy, but were very moist. One issue I had was that the food did not look quite the same since it was not cooked with direct flame/heat. If I had to do it over again, I think I would get the version that had the slide you could use to allow direct heat in order to sear the meat. The grill also had some temp fluctuations, but with the temp probes, I could monitor the meat temps to know when I was done. All in all (just getting started) I am pretty pleased with this grill.
Darius : The best so far
King of all BBQ
Robert Jones : Dented
Pellet box is dented.
Barefooter : Never going back to charcoal
Tired of propane and charcoal- Fast warm up and easy to use- should have included a shelf for the price. Blower is a bit loud - smokes and cooks evenly. Can cook 8 whole chickens at one time with no flare ups!

Bohemian : Best smoker
Great smoker. Well built. Set it and forget it.
Amazon Customer : Best smoker on the market
Easy to assemble and fun since it calls for a 6 pack of cold beverage to assemble. This smoker is quite large we have done several racks of ribs at once on this grill
Bmfharding : Go for bigger
Definitely go for the larger size, it’s worth the extra $
