Answer: I would say yes it handled a 40 inch 33 lb. Laker

Answer: Yeah it will. I net 40+” catfish with mine. the 2427 was huge. I wish they were a little deeper

Answer: yes, I used one on a trip to Canada, and landed 40”+ Pike with 0 issues. Loved it, well worth the investment.

Was so excited to use this this net, finally took it out and was so disappointed. First off when I press the extension button, it shot out and the handle flew off. Figured not a big deal, I can glue it or shoot a screw to hold it in place. Went on shore walleye fishing in a channel where u need a long fishing net. Anyways, fish on... net was ready to go but when we went to scoop it up, the whole freaking top part came off and went bye bye. Can’t even contact them to see if they could do something about it, such a waste of money. Do not purchase unless u want to throw away $130.00, learn from my mistake. If I could leave no stars then I would have, poorly built fishing net overall.

Size of the net itself. Light did not work will have to change battery. Back handle grip came off no big deal will secure it. This would have been 5 stars if not for these small issues.
