Answer: I would say yes it handled a 40 inch 33 lb. Laker

Answer: Yeah it will. I net 40+” catfish with mine. the 2427 was huge. I wish they were a little deeper

Answer: yes, I used one on a trip to Canada, and landed 40”+ Pike with 0 issues. Loved it, well worth the investment.

Answer: You'd probably be good for fish up to 40". If you have bigger fish get a stowmaster

River bum : Junk

So mad. I netted about four fish with the net. Then I pressed the button to extend the handle and the grin few off into the water
* update frabill told me to return it to amazon and they are replacing it. Great customer service
*lol update got rained on twice and the handle fell off a brand new net smh

Size of the net itself. Light did not work will have to change battery. Back handle grip came off no big deal will secure it. This would have been 5 stars if not for these small issues.

Like many others the end handle came off then scratches my boat. If ya like spending time digging stick baits and lures outta the net, it’s perfect. So disappointed in myself for buying and the product. Net already pulled out of the seam around the frame a little. I fish for walleye and it also has a trampoline effect based on how the net tapers. Lost three fish outta the net..but it did managed to bury the lure. Many superior nets available for less.

This net worked great to obtain the first silver of the day! Released the silver into the boat and back over the gunnel to rinse the net . I pull the net back out of the water, but wait I only have the rubber grip off the handle. CRAP, I'm scrambling trying to get the net back into the boat, but I'm fighting the incoming tide and the outgoing wind so its 6 Ft. away and oh by the way it doesn't float. Please let me know why this rubber grip handle isn't permanently attached to the handle? My heart has just sunk as I realize there is no way I'm jumping into this 49degree water to get the net, Prince William Sound in Alaska has now claimed this net.
