are these microwave safe?

Answer: Im not sure but they work in the oven very well.

Does this allow air circulation between layers or is it a solid sheet?

Answer: I answered the question incorrectly, in the previous answer. I answered for the actual metal dehydration sheets, which are mesh. I also purchased the silicone sheets, which ARE solid, for dehydrating smaller items, or for items that may stick to the metal sheets. They seem to have enough circulation, because I haven't had an issue.

Answer: They are not a solid sheet, but kind of a mesh. And there seems to be plenty of circulation between each sheet. I haven't had any issues. You can but silicone sheets to go on the metal sheets in case you want to dehydrate something really small.

Can this fit in a 8qt instant pot?

Answer: I'm not sure about the instant pot, but I have an 8qt Ninja Food, and they fit perfectly.

Answer: I have a Ninja Foodi with crisper top. It fits my Foodi loosely, in the bottom of the s/s pot . The sheets are 8" across.

can these be used during air frying in place of the disposable paper sheets?

Theses silicone mats are just what I needed for dehydrating fruit leathers in my ninja foodie as well as a great liner for easy air frying clean up.

The sheets looked too good to be true because they are. They are too thick that that do not allow the air to heat through. If I had paid attention and used them immediately I would be returning them!!! Item not as described!!!

Did not like these...they felt sticky....I've tried dehydrating meat and fruit on them and nothing gets done! Everything comes out mushy! When I do exact same thing without these they come out perfect but stick to metal and bottom pan is messy...will not be buying again, I threw them away!
